★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Lowe’s location has the most helpful and friendly staff of any hardware store I’ve ever been to. I have had several positive experiences here with staff from multiple departments. The flooring department has been exceptionally helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a top notch experience. I will continue to drive past 3 other competitor stores to shop at this location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to buy a fairly decent amount of flooring. We weren't certain about some things so the associate, Stewart, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They loaded the items onto our trailer with a forklift, wrapped it securely and wished us well. The whole transaction took about a half hour. Some of the best service we've had in quite some time. The store is very well laid out and has a nice selection of items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Big Box store carrying everything a handy person needs in the way of tools, lumber appliances, lighting and related materials. My only complaint is that like many large stores, they are transitioning to self checkout. I know it's a cost savings, and I'm sure staff are hard to find but it seems to me that employment opportunities are reduced through automation. And you have to trust the bar codes are accurate. Clean restrooms, lots of parking and wheelchair accessible. A good place to get what you need for almost any job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is like Home Depot's quiet cousin! Great store with awesome selection - superb assorted hardware and random screws in well organized bins. Recently the wood has been 2nd rate... lots of warped 2x4s etc... but I have had good luck with plumbing parts. Overall it's a way better choice than Can Tire and has helpful staff. I do find they need to open up the self check-out more cause it's always closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lowes is the the nicest big box hardware store! Clean and bright when compared to others. They always have a great selection of any kind of decor items… eg, lighting, lawn furniture etc… they have options that you don’t see at other stores! The staff at the Oshawa store were super helpful and friendly when I was recently purchasing a lawn mower from this location! The team loaded the mower and even honoured a sale from the week before! Highly recommend!
