Moose Mobility Scooter Corp. - Edmonton

My 26 year old sister recently lost her ability to walk on her own. Her & her husband arrived at this awesomely helpful store & the salesperson (Lisa) not only helped them find a righteous scooter for her to regain her mobility, but also helped them feel as though they were the most important people in the world. Lisa, I don't know you, but I thank God for your compassion & kindness towards my precious family. Check this place out folks! If all the world was as passionate about helping people as Lisa is, it would truly be a much more beautiful place?

I was very happy with the service to begin with. I rented a scooter for the weekend and the lady was very friendly and explained everything very well. My problems began when I tried to get my deposit back. The scooter was returned on Monday as was the agreement. Tues I called because the refund had not shown in my account yet. She was very apologetic and said they had been very busy and it was at the top of her pile to do. Wed afternoon I called and left a message, still no refund! Nobody returned my call. I left a second message. Tomorrow is thurs and I still do not have my deposit back that was supposed to be returned to me on MONDAY! I am not a rich person and that is a lot of money to me. I will contact the BBB tomorrow

Actually they don't even deserve a one start rating. But anyway they do not stand behind their product, don't inform you that there would be costs pertaining to picking up the scooter, plus costs to return it after their so called inspection of the unit. I have received a very very serious injury on their 3 wheeled Pride scooter.I received these injuries when I preceded to drive down a sloped curve which is suppose to be developed to help people with crossing roads either pushing a stroller or riding a bike or just continuing your ride on the scooter. I contacted the manufacturer of this unit and they instructed the seller (Moose Mobility) to pick it up and have it inspected. No mention regarding there would be a cost of picking it up and returning it. Now Moose Mobility has come back and said that the unit was in perfect running order and they have taken it for a test ride in their parking lot, which by the way does not have the same curbs and they have said that the scooter was SAFE. They said that if I pay another $400.00 they would upgrade me to a 4 wheel unit. I said no but I would like to know how much they give back to me for the scooter that was only used 3 times. I bought it for $1899.00 and they will only give me $987.00. WOW they made $1899.00 in the first place and have potential to make another $600.00. WHAT A RIP OFF!!! Plus they threatened to charge me $55.00 for the return of the unit. I just want to mention that if you are thinking of buying a scooter 4 wheels for sure and there are other places that are much more reasonable. I am pursuing legal counsil toward the manufacturer and the seller. If my girl friend who has MS would have been driving this unit, I don't know how she would have handled this because I had to drag myself out from under the machine with only the use of my left arm and try to stand it up to get home. My girlfriend has no strength in her legs what so ever so how could have she have gotten home. My husband has also tried the unit and has almost tipped over it it wasn't for his quick reaction to put his foot down to stop it from tipping. I now have a complete tear of the tendon from the rotator cuff and a partial tear on another tendon. I am looking at 6 months to 1 year for rehab at 88.00 a visit.

As some previous comments have mentioned. Times it's difficult to get repair guy. This business takes advantage of people. Posting for sale a used model. Stating that it's inspected, etc. Only to be stung a couple years later stating it's no longer repairable due to fact they can't find parts. Repeat process, and again a couple years later same excuse. Very poor!

Absolutely a wonderful experience. So helpful. Would go there again in a heart beat. Answered all my questions. Set me up for a scooter that works well for me

We rented a knee walker for a friend who had come to visit. Great service (from Lisa) and detailed demonstrations of the walker's use and features. We were extremely happy with both the product and the service and would not hesitate to recommend MMSC to anyone looking for mobility assistance. Thanks guys! You were life savers!

Wonderful wonderful Had excellent Service great people. Very helpful. We are here visiting from Windsor Ontario and last nights are scooter stop charging. We have a flight out of Calgary tomorrow. The part would have taken 2 weeks to get but they worked thier magic and Borrowed from Peter and paid Paul And we are now on our way thank you thank you thank you.

My daughter purchased a Scout 3 from Amazon in March 2022. We instantly had sensor errors beeping. I called 4 other companies for help, they said No. On April 22nd I contacted Moose & spoke to Lisa who said they could fix this. I went in this Morning at 9am, they immediately went to work on our scooter. Dave the technician did all the troubleshooting & found the complete console, throttles, speed control & wiring harness needed to be replaced. He spent almost an hour on the phone with the supplier to get warranty for parts & in the end all of the parts replacements he got under warranty. If we had purchased from Moose Mobility, parts & labour would be done for free. With this I only paid for labour just over $230.00, otherwise it could have cost over $700.00. I am so pleased my wife’s scooter is working thanks to Moose Mobility.. Earl & Lori Cameron Sherwood Park AB……
