very poor customer service. Tried to update an address and give them more information. Customer service person would not. Said .. track your shipment and do it yourself. I've emailed the executives. Just wanted to express how some simple things can really be made complicated. I’m attaching my Live Chat with what I thought was a “customer service” person .. not a “serve yourself person”. Bought a pair of skis from Echo Sports. They are using Loomis to deliver them for me to Calgary, AB. I forgot to add the suite number as it’s an office building. I emailed EchoSports before they were picked up but they forgot to add it to the order as well. They gave me Loomis contact info and waybill info. On the live chat I simply requested that we add the suite number to make it easier for the delivery…. “follow your shipment and advise us once it’s in Calgary for delivery .. on the 17th or 18th ..” As in .. “do it yourself”. Won't dare tell you how to run your business as I don't know a thing about it .. but it seems to me that the better the directions .. the easier, more efficient the delivery.

Opened a chat window online with a Loomis rep to find out where my parcel was located since tracking had not been updated for 6 days. Rep was less than helpful. Spent 25 min online with her and ended up with no answers.

I used this company only once and they lost a package that was given to them simply to ship from Markham to Brampton - about a one hour drive across the highway. Will never use this company again or be recommending them to anyone.

Paid ALOT of money for 2 day shipping. Package didn't come for almost two weeks. Then they tried telling me that it was delivered, which it was not. Will never use this company. Also takes them a week to respond to a phone call or an email.

Delivery driver called (from personal phone) so I declined it as I didn’t recognize the number, but just kept calling so I finally picked up. I wasn’t home at the time (I was working! It was a Thursday morning!) and he acted like this was a huge inconvenience. I asked him to use the buzzer and leave it at my door and he said he couldn’t because it requires a signature (it really shouldn’t though). He then hung up on me. No package or notification. Had to call customer service to sort things out and now I’m stuck driving to their depot, when I paid for delivery. I will avoid buying from businesses that use you as their courier.

What is it with Loomis Express compared with other delivery companies? Every. single. time I get something delivered by Loomis there's an issue. I have had all the following in the past year (+-): 1. The courier doesn't bother to buzz me, just leaves a note saying the parcel is at a depot, when I'm literally sitting there with the phone in my hand waiting for them to arrive. 2. The courier doesn't "want" to bring the parcel upstairs - there's are reasons why I order delivery that include having an ostomy, a hernia and a spinal fracture. I *can't* go downstairs and carry up a heavy box of goods. EVERY OTHER COMPANY brings the deliveries up to my door. Just not Loomis. 3. The courier leaves a parcel OUTSIDE my building's lobby, in the entrance area, where anyone from the street can walk in and pick it up. Oh, and without letting me know it's there. What part of the delivery instructions that say "Press #123 on the intercom so I can buzz you in" don't they understand? Or can't they read? I have already cancelled one subscription because they only used Loomis for deliveries and I was sick of the problems. Now, I'm moving a second account to another provider whose couriers DO bring the box up to my door. I understand about Covid rules, but wake up guys - the restrictions are over and if you're wearing a mask and putting it at my door you don't even have to see me. Not impressed at all. My shipment was out for delivery, it started to rain and at the end of the day, the shipment was returned to the warehouse with the excuse "no such address". We are in a world of technology and you can't find a house? Not even a building or townhouse, this is a natural house that is fully marked on Google and can be easily found. It's more like the driver didn't want to haul a big box in the rain. The only way for this company to be in business is if the rates are too good. But then again you get what you pay for, low rates equals low service.

I paid for a 3 month service to be delivered to my home. The first month was left at front door which was great. The second month the delivery driver watched my wife pull into the driveway, get out of her car, then drove off. That was a failed delivery attempt which I had to drive to Brampton to receive. The third and last package was attempted twice, but the delivery driver was ringing the wrong door bell. I corrected the delivery instructions(which were taped to the box) and waited for three days. No package. Drove yet again across two cities to get my package. It was explained to me that there is no demand for the company to supply the drivers with a cellphone to call the homeowner for a package that needs a signature. I shall notify the company using Loomis and explain the terrible service.
