DHL has lost a large package of mine a few month ago. Repeated tracking indicated that the lost large package was till in the Hamilton facilities Persistent pleading for weeks to look for it was largely ignored. I had to contact the manager Alex and was told "consider it lost and put a lost claim" for it. I refused to do this as I did not want to loose valuable personal items the package contained. Finally three months later the package was dropped off in front of our building on a pallet, exposed to rain. I was told the confusion was due to the new warehouse facilities in Hamilton Ontario and that they were now getting better organized. Another package containing some critical custom samples parts has also been lost by DHL. I reported this to DHL several times and as always was told that it was lost but the tracking shows that it is still in Hamilton for almost a month now. My calls remain unanswered and I am still hoping that the package with critical items for us will be find. The staff's attitude in both cases have been generally very slow, dismissive and indifferent. This is unbelievably bad service for a company like DHL. Sincerely. Absolutley Unprofessional, Disorganized. We have waited 3 months to find our parcel.Dozens of emails and phone calls. No one seems to know where it is,the stress and anxiety of possiblity of it being lost? No phone numbers just unless emails back and forth. I have done all the work for them. Contact numbers , customs ,around every corner no answer but " please be patient and will contact you. I have more information and research done than the company has done. Now they want me to drive 1.5 hrs to a facility to retrieve my own parcel( cannot guarantee it will be there??) I will NEVER use DHL again. Shocking that they are in business. Seems like i am not the only one, and feel horrible for everyone else too. Customer Service 0 Professionalism 0 Knowledgable and Leadership 0. After costs,time,frustration. This has been a joke. L

There should be an option to leave 0, 1 is too high. The customer service is completely worthless and they have no idea what’s going on, and there is no point in calling them at all. Been waiting on a delivery for over a week and they have no idea where it is. I paid extra to have it shipped on time, and that was a complete waste of money. If you speak to 4 different people, each one will give you a different response. How this company is in business is beyond me. They should win the worst company award!!

The drivers are very rude and unprofessional. Twice the driver refused to bring the parcel to my apartment door, and left it in the lobby. I have asthma and cannot carry weight, all the delivery services deliver to the apartment door, but DHL refused. Now I have been waiting for my parcel, waited yesterday, got message parcel out for delivery. Checked the delivery truck on the map via link sent by DHL, driver never came near my building, but new message said recipient not at home. Called DHL The agent promised delivery today, same thing happened today he came close to my building but never came here and I got another message no one home. I am fed up with DHL.

How about a zero star? I am waiting for a food parcel for more than a week now. I live in an individual house and have the exact address on the file. Driver didn’t deliver the package and updates the status as apartment number is missing. I have the phone number on file and asked the driver to give me a call, when he is here. No, they don’t look into the instructions. I am still waiting for my parcel to be delivered. I planned to have DHL for my business, after this experience. No way.

Dreadful service. Two fake delivery attempts on tracking page - nobody actually came or called. No delivery slip at the door. No subsequent attempt to contact me either. I found out about the package accidentally 2+ weeks later. It turns out the package is on hold due to unpaid customs duties, but they won't accept payment at the door. Why not call or text or email me then to advise of other payments options so the package can finally be delivered? I wish online vendors would stop using these terrible private couriers like DHL. Never had any issues with Canada Post.

I am utterly shocked by the poor customer service I have received this past holiday season. The disorganization is so real and customer service doesn’t seem to take their job seriously. I have spoken to multiple customer service reps in the past 10 days and my packages still have not been delivered despite duties being paid and all necessary delivery information provided multiple times. DHL has also delivered to my address multiple times before so I really do not understand why this experience has been so difficult. It does not give me confidence in the company and if I can avoid using DHL in the future I will.

Do not trust DHL with your personal information or package. DHL mixed up my phone number on another person's delivery. I thought this was my package at first and I paid the clearance fees. I thought DHL would look into this mistake and refund me. Nope. I now have access to a stranger's delivery as DHL controls it through phone number. I can access all information about the shipment, the sender and receiver's information including address and phone number, duties and custom slips. I can redirect the package to any DHL location or have it delivered to a "neighbour's" address. DHL doesn't care about looking into what went wrong because everything is paid for. The reply from their investigation was that the "actual receiver" paid the waybill, so there is nothing they can do. DHL cares about getting paid, not you or your package.
