★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped a woman in a Nelson, BC shop to admire her hat and to my utter amazement, the hat maker’s shop was in town! This is not your “Sunday hat variety” but rather super cute practical hats for both dealing with rain ( and lots of it since I am a native Floridian) and to keep your head and ears warm in “colder” climates.... practical with colors, designs and textures to meet all consumer needs!
We travel extensively and these hats can pack flat which is an incredible advantage... waterproof cute!!
I bought 6 hats and my husband found a perfect one for him too! Thanks Liz, your shop was an incredible find!!!

Once I'm wearing one I feel put together, whether I'm on my kayak, transporting bergamot via my bicycle, am walking my dog in a winter snowfall, or am going out for a drink. Though I own more than one hat, each one makes me feel more myself, confident in who I am walking in this world. It doesn't hurt either, that the showroom is alluring, and the expertise shared by Liz Cohoe and her longterm team makes each visit a delight. Made to retain their shape and stitching and style each Lillie and Cohoe hat echoes the past while feeling completely fresh and modern. What's not to love?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I actually discovered Lillie and Cohoe hats through Granville Island. They had a hat I liked but not my size. So I decided to give the Lillie and Cohoe online store a try. It was very user friendly. I live in Vancouver and received my hat the very next day via Canada Post, in perfect condition. I hope some day I have the chance to venture out to Nelson to see the store in person. For now, it is looking via stockists and their website (and maybe craft shows?). What a beautiful hat, the Lake Country Freda in white!

I had all kinds of questions when I went for my custom fitting like; what is the best hat shape for me? Will their styles look good on me? What hat type will be the most useful for me? Not only did I find the perfect hat I had a ton of fun picking out just the right one. They have a large selection to choose from and all of them are super high quality. I am a real textiles person and really appreciate fine finishing and detailed stitching. The craftsmanship of these hats and the care that is put into each design is worthy of runways in Paris. It's no wonder this company has an international reputation for creating fabulous hats. I highly recommend finding this shop in Nelson BC or purchasing one online. You wont be sorry. Best kept fashion secret's retail outlet around!
