Not sure if it is just this location or LifeLabs in general but at a recent visit, they never sent the results to my doctor and it ended up causing an additional month delay in getting treatment. I'll never go back and would strongly recommend to follow up with your doctor a few days after your test to ensure they got the results.

Walked in for some blood work. I chose a Tuesday afternoon hoping it would be fast. Didn't have to wait longer than a couple of minutes, and I was patiently explained how to access my results.

The staff are rude, never greet you properly. Second time I had to come because they lost my forms the first time around. They walk away when your standing there to check in. Both times I've come staff have acted the same way and treated the patients like we were annoying for disturbing them .

Very rude staff. The lady who was in the computer got my blood sample and she’s angry. Very painful when she got my blood sample and turns out a big hematoma after a day. I went to this location because it’s fully booked at 1 Centrepoint where I normally go to.

Yes, they are rude, but they get the job done, give you a seat, and the parking is free -- as someone else said, they are angry about something, and need to be reminded to try to be gentle, smile, be kind -- BUT I far prefer them to Centrepointe, where after having a small stroke I was kept standing in the hall for 45 mins (they only deigned to notice me after two men joined the line behind me -- women don't rate), and then ordered around and treated miserably by the reception person, told they had not received my requisition, made to feel like a tech idiot, and finally left without my blood test. Never setting foot in Centrepointe again, and have advised everyone I know to never go there; they are the victims of their good location-- just too busy.

I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Very fast and efficient, the receptionist was very friendly. The staff who did my blood work was extremely friendly and patient, as well as reassuring; she made sure I felt comfortable.

Arrived at 7:45 am (they open at 7:30 am), reached reception for walk-in check-in at 8:00 am and was politely informed the wait-time would be over an hour and I can wait either outside or on chairs in the lobby. The procedure itself took less than 10 minutes and I finished at 9:30 am. The staff doing my bloodwork was kind and explained everything clearly. She brought a smaller needle suitable for small veins. Make sure to wear something that’s easy to pull past the elbow as when it’s your turn you might get privacy dividers but not a private room FYI online check-in is not working (but appointments are working if you can book far enough ahead). Someone else had an appointment later in the morning and they weren’t seen right away but within about 10-15 minutes There is plentiful free parking. Staff weren’t rude at all, at least not in the morning - the phlebotomist was smiling and cheerful while the receptionists were straightforward.

I cannot understand how this outlet has not been shutdown (under a corporate ethics disciplinary action etc). The way customers are treated is arguably abusive, and consistently so. If I was concerned about LifeLabs brand, I would clean house with these owners/staff and start over. Yesterday was my third visit to this outfit, hoping things might have changed in the two-year period since I had been there last. Sadly, even though I arrived 1.5 hours before closing, I found the door locked. After a fellow patient let me in, I was greeted, with an angry woman screaming at me from behind front reception "Get Out!" There was a long pause as I expected an explanation, but incredibly, none was given so I asked, "Excuse me?". Again, she yelled, "Appointments only!" When I pointed out that it was still 1.5 before closing and that her own website, being held live in my hand on my phone, indicated that walk-ins were indeed still being accepted, she replied that she didn't care about that damn thing. Customers waiting in the room were made extremely uncomfortable by her crazed behaviour and noted that her branch was indeed open for another hour and a half. She turned her back and walked away. As I left, quite shell-shocked, I tried to warn the line of people waiting that the outlet was "closed" but as it was still "open" for another 1.5 hours, people pushed through and went in. I have no idea how that must have ended. This was the worst, but not the first, unprofessional behaviour I have experienced and/or witnessed from this manager/public-facing lab tech. I will (and encourage others if so inclined) be writing LifeLabs HQ as well. This is not how I expect businesses to treat people in our community. Absolutely shameful.
