Very friendly and a great selection. They have some nice specials on as well. Gear seemed properly cleaned. They accept card payments.

Can't say enough good about my experience with this place. The process of selling my used equipment was super easy and fast, the staff are very friendly, and the entire concept of their store is awesome: getting you outside in affordable, gently worn gear! Highly recommended.

I really like this new business! It's a great idea that was waiting for someone to make it happen. Matt and Nancy make it happen! I have both purchased and consigned items now and love to keep an eye on their online store for new items. I highly recommend checking out Life Outside Gear Exchange.

Life Outside Gear Exchange is going to become a long time staple in the Saskatoon community. I have both consigned and shopped here, and only have the best things to say about it. Nancy and Matt are doing nothing but a GREAT job here!!!

Great prices This kind of gear can be quite expensive. I've spent a lot of time scouring Kijiji and Facebook marketplace and varage sale to find good deals on this stuff, and the prices at Life Outside Gear Exchange are right on pace and sometimes even better than local private sales. But what makes them really stand out is the aggregation service they provideβ€”instead of having to peruse various different private sale services to find the one thing you want, Life Outside eliminates that process by gathering all these things in one place with the added benefit of making sure the product works as intended. Great mission I love supporting local businesses and I've always found the cost of outdoor lifestyle equipment to be prohibitive, so for a local company to come out and try to reduce that barrier to entry for these activities is simply awesome. I love what they're trying to do here. Great customer service Seriously, just go talk to the people who work there. They're very pleasant and accommodating.

I consigned a pair of downhill skis and boots to their ski swap and let them do the pricing. They didn't sell so I went down to the store Tuesday to pick them up. (Their website said they were closed Monday). But the store was still closed Tuesday. I stopped back again Wednesday and asked to pick up my stuff. I was able to take the boots home but the skis were locked away in storage. I would have to come back for them. Later in the day, I found the skis delivered to the back door. "That was nice of them", I thought. Till I got an email from them complaining that I would come to their store and question their percentages and policies and not to return to their store! My wife was with me at the store and did not think I was rude in any way. (I will oblige their request and not return) UPDATE: When I made the 2nd trip to the store to retrieve my stuff, i waited in line until the person at the till asked how she could help me. When I explained I was there to retrieve my items that had not sold, at first she could find no record of them. I was a little concerned because their online web form showed I had "donated" them! Luckily, I had my printout receipt showing my items as "active" and when I showed this, we were able to find the boots but I was told the skis were locked away in "storage" and I would have to wait until the owners, who were out of town for a couple days, got back. I did ask why she couldn't get them for me, but when she said she was the only one on duty and couldn't leave the till, I said I understood and would have to come back a 3rd time to get them later. That's why I was pleasantly surprised to see the skis delivered to my back door later that day. And I wouldn't have even put up this review if it weren't for the angry rude email I got from the owner after. Her claim that I "b;lasted the staff" is an absolute lie. I even offered to take down the review if she retracted the unkind lies about me but I've had no response back.

This store is a super stellar addition to Saskatoon. Their online consignor access is brilliant - it lets you see your stuff, how it sells, and easily request your payout. Amazing outerwear and gear come in regularly. Love how it reuses what is already out there before used gear becomes obsolete.
