Had the shawarma plate a few times before and it was great, but recently they've started adding caraway seeds to the rice, absolutely ruined the dish for me, had to throw it out halfway

I had the beef shawarma platter and it was great. It had a nice balance of flavors and textures. The meat was flavorful as well. At $14, it's not too bad as the portion is big so i have leftovers for the next day. I also love the garlic sauce on it. I would definitely come back again.

Probably the worst shawarma I've had in Canada, the meat had a weird after taste, the rice was stale overall negative experience. The price was good though.

Portion sizes have gone way down. They barely put anything in. For a $15 lunch it would be nice if I wasn’t hungry afterwards… having said that, it’s delicious. Just won’t come back because the value is nowhere near what it needs to be.

Great shawarma for a good price in Downtown Toronto. I shared a daily special with my brother (two shawarmas for 13.99). We were both pretty satisfied with the portions as well as the great flavour.

First impressions lasts. It's always about the right execution and passionate people doing the job. I see a lot of great reviews at this place. It was my boyfriend who ordered the food on Skip the Dishes. It's our first time to order at this place, he says to give it a chance. Well, here it goes. Falafel was really good but would be really nice if they put in some sauce for it. Secondly, my chicken shawarma had something extra with it. When I was poking my fork on the red cabbage I found a "lid from one of their squeeze bottles". I told my boyfriend, "oh look a surprise!!!" Look at the pictures as evidence. Some people might be grossed out about it but not me. I ignored it. Chicken was a bit dry, food was a bit cold. Tasty though. Third, it would be nice if the website or the restaurant could ask Skip the Dishes to fix selection especially on the degree of spiciness or heat. I, for one cannot tolerate heat as I prefer to taste the food as is without heat. I prefer to enjoy a meal without sipping on a beverage every 10-15 seconds. I didn't order soup, you know. I love trying different foods and cuisines but it's unfortunate our first try at this place was a disappointment.

I really enjoy the shawarma here, I think the meat is of a higher quality than in other places, especially the chicken (which most people take). I never have the wraps, but the platters/dinners are quite large and lots of vegetables and salads you don't find in other places. Their tabouleh actually tastes fresh every time and this is one of the few places where fried eggplant is an included side. The wraps could have more meat inside though.

A typical shawarma place offering plates and shawarmas. The large is quite filling and is about $13. They have daily specials with discounts on items. The shawarma tasted great and was well seasoned.
