D	Duncan Balmain-Matthews on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bar was understaffed. Bartenders did the best they could do but they saw us every 45min or so. Ordered food and it took over an hour to arrive. Would not recommend if you need a second drink or food. Good intentions by servers. Need more staff.

SO happy they did because the food was delicious, the drinks simply on point, and the service was so friendly and awesome. I cannot wait until I visit again next month. Thank you Bar Fancy!

Their fries were basic but were perfectly crispy. No complaints. We still danked them. That seasoning on that chicken tho. Something with fennel. LOVELY. I enjoyed myself. Also PAT IS SUPER CHILL AND GREAT. TREAT HIM WELL Y'ALL. Buy him some blackbird shotsssss lol
D	Dan Dorio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth it. Service was a little slow but the atmosphere was great, and food was even better. The tiny kitchen is right at the front of the restaurant. Smell of jalapeno and fried chicken fill the air. It's a tight space but cozy and inviting. Would recommend. 5 stars.
L	Lesley Riedstra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just happened to walk into Bar Fancy after a Candlelight concert at Longboat Hall, it's a quiet and non-descript place but they had Fried Chicken on the menu, fryers right there for you to see while they cooked, and it was amazing! The chicken, the sprouts, the nachos, hushpuppies...it was all great, and we have eaten a lot of fried chicken right from the best in the south even...but this was right up at the top of our list, moist but not greasy which is tough to do!

Highly recommend The staff was friendly and hilarious. Making me and my date laugh all night. Then the fried chicken came and omg. I think I did too. Food is savoury. Atmosphere is fun and staff is so hip they make you feel like a regular. 5 stars. Can’t wait to come back
M	Marissa C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this place while looking for a bar to hit nearby. So glad we did. A bit of a smaller establishment, but still had a good vibe. The staff (Pat and Martin) were great. Menu was simple but had good options. The newest drink on their menu was not that great, could lose the “on the rocks” part of it but the other drinks were delicious. Try the black bird shot! One thing I didn’t like about this place (also why I deducted a star) is that they had poor ventilation. As the kitchen is out in the common dining area, the oil and smoke permeates through the entire place. My eyes were stinging a good portion of the night when the cook was making food. And when I got home, all my clothes reeked of oil smell I had to air them out. Worst part? My phone case soaked up the oil stench too, still smells like oil even after soaking it into soapy water. Had to order a new one. Advice to management is invest in better ventilation.
