My first taste of authentic French food in Quebec. I fear that I may have chosen too good of a spot to start with, not sure how others will follow this experience. I had my first French Onion Soup & Duck Confit here. Both were spectacular, particularly the French Onion Soup. The canopy of melted cheese over the dish was perfect. The servers caught wind that it was my first and they were genuinely excited for me, which I truly appreciated. The enthusiasm of the servers was wonderful. The Duck Confit did not disappoint either. I had to finish with the Creme Brulee as it's actually my favorite all-time dessert - and wow this is the best Creme Brulee I've had in this city so far! The textures of the two layers was immaculate. Skating rink thickness on the top layer sitting on top of a lake of soft, creamy custard. I was so delighted with all 3 courses of my meal here.

We called prior to my birthday to ask if the had frogs legs, they didn't, but said they would try. When we showed up a couple of days later, although they weren't on the menu, the waiter said "Oh you must be the ones who called", sure enough the shef was ready for us. Frogs legs were delicious, as well as snails and the new love of my heart Beef tartare. Thank you for the extra effort.

Ann gave us a great experience at her restaurant. The escargot, duck confit, fois gras and chocolate mousse was delicious!?

Great french food and amazing service. Ben was really helpful and he explained the entire french menu to us. His recommendation of Goat Cheese Salad was spot on! Eric convinced us further on this dish and it turned out to be fantastic! The Duck Confit and Creme Brulee were great as well. The entire staff was very polite and it turned out to be a perfect evening for us.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try some authentic French cuisine while we were visiting Montreal and looked up this restaurant on google. We had to wait a few minutes before we got a table outside. Ben was very courteous and explained the menu to us in English. I got their signature arugula salad with goat cheese while my boyfriend got duck Condit. The food was absolutely delicious. We finished our dinner with soe delicious chai tea crumble. We left the place satiated and full of gratitude.

After the stuffiness of some high end French restaurants, we were looking for an intimate French bistro and were so happy to come across this place. Not only was our dinner delicious but was served with personal touch & style by Jezebel and Justine. Would highly recommend it as an overall delightful experience.

I'll give a 3.5 for my experience. The interior was pretty and the ambiance was superb until a loud table were sat next to us around the end of the meal. It's a small restaurant and the small tables were near each other. For the food, it was good but there were no wow. The menu had little choices but most of them were French classics like the French onion soup, beef tartare, boeuf bourguignon and Paris Brest. For the appetizer, we had the beef tartare and French onion soup. The tartare was good and very well spiced. Although, I would have had liked a some crunchy toasts with it like all other tartares. The soup tasted like a traditional French onion soup. However, there were so much bread. More than half was bread. For the mains, all my family had the duck confit (lack of choices) and I had the special of the day with was like a Shepard's pie but with turkey. The duck had crispy skins and the potatoes were a good surprise. The turkey dish was very good and I liked the salad that came with it. As for dessert, we had the creme brûlée and the Paris Brest. I wanted the beetroot panna cotta for dessert but I was so disappointed to be told they ran out of it AFTER I ordered it. We came to eat at 6:30 the biggest crowd didn't even arrive yet... The creme brûlée, while there was a good coat of sugar on the creme brûlée, the custard underneath was like whipped cream with an orange taste. It didn't have the eggy and pudding like consistency. The Paris Brest, however, was excellent. I think my favorite of the night. I would eat that all day. Overall, it was good, but not excellent. There are a few things that could be improved on the food and service.
