★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I heard some trust fund hipsters tried to treat the bar staff like their parent's servants and got laughed out of the bar. I had to check it out for myself. Place turned out to be awesome. Great atmosphere, the women behind the bar were the coolest, conveniently located, chill low key crowd and strong drinks. Best kept secret in Montreal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's 9pm on a Friday and the place is empty save one other patron. We order a martini and a tequila sunrise. The bartender asks the other patron how much grenadine to put in a drink. The tequila sunrise miraculously tastes okay. The martini is not a martini. It's a shot of vodka poured into a shot of vermouth. The glass is half empty and unstirred. We mention it's a little skimpy for a martini and are told that's the way they do it here. Before we even take our first sip the bills arrive. So much for setting a tab. Even the staff want us out. I can't help but feel this wasn't a bar so much as the concept of a bar. At least the washrooms were nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drove from Ottawa to watch the game... the drive was absolutely worth it. They made planning very easy especially since it rained. The bar has a nice atmosphere and a clean toilet and it still felt we were sitting outside since the front was completely open. I liked the few local beers they have. Now for the most important part: service was outstanding. Mireille came to our table countless times and chatted with us. You could hear her radiant smile even through her mask. Such a pleasant experience. Thank you Mireille! I hope you read this. :)
