It is a must go resto. Friendly staff and quite fast for having your order. I ordered Poached eggs, smoked salmon & Spanish caviar on blinis, which was super good: fresh, juicy and tasty. The fried bread on point.

Our lunch at Lemeac today… I forgot to take photos of the room and entry ☹️ Everything was very good! Generous portion of #foiegras torchon… my mussels were tasty and the hubby was ecstatic with his #bloodpudding main course. It got very busy so service got a little hectic… however the service staff was still attentive.

I was very satisfied with all the dishes. My favourite was the Mediterranean fish soup with bread and rouille. The service was great and the ambience was nice.

One of the worst experience I had in Montreal. Except for the oysters which were delicious, the dishes were poorly presented and the taste was missing. We ordered the beef tartare and it came with 3 biscottis and a huge bowl of potato straw/fries. It was just plain confusing as we didn’t really understood how you were supposed to eat those with the tartare, not to mention how impossible it was to eat the straws with utensils… The cuisse de canard was well marinated, but it just looked like a dish at Saint-Hubert BBQ. The oil was dripping from the potatoes and that was pretty much all the sauce I’d have in the dish. The service was okay, but there was always bad timing. They would come around when you weren’t done but when you were done, it would take a while for them to come back. The table was dirty from all the mess with the straws and they didn’t even bother to clean it before the second service. They would come take the bread basket but leave the butter on the table. The accumulation of all those stuffs really gave us a bad experience, which truly was a shame as we were looking forward to trying out this acclaimed restaurant to find out this was probably overhype.

Dined here for lunch today and had a very pleasant experience. Menu is extensive and quite pricey. I had the Butternut Squash soup topped with oven baked cheese and crouton and it was magnificent. My son had the Scallops which were very well prepared and presented and my Hanger Steak was also tasty topped with their signature butter, two great plates. The desserts were also very well presented and prepared. A meal full of flavor and top end taste! I thought it was worth the price, but I can see how it might not be for everyone who have unrealistic expectations when the prices are higher on the menu.... Service was really good, it was nice to be attended to by people who understand the true meaning of client satisfaction and service while dining. I suppose the only knock might be the interior decor that might need a little refresh (the wood paneling just doesn't seem to mesh with the vibe of this place) but what do I know? I'm not an interior decorator....

Considering the high price you pay for food there (at least 20$/entrée and 30$/main course), I would describe the food as sub-par (and I am being VERY nice here). The plates were either: tasteless, too salty or weirdly flavoured (the combination of flavors didn't fit together). Food presentation was horrible as you can see on the pictures. Fish plate came with pieces of unseasoned boiled potatoes and bland (frozen) tiny shrimps (very disappointing for a plate that cost 40$). Duck was cooked fine and tender, but the plate itself was so dry as there was no sauce and it only came with fried potatoes and a salad. Risotto was heavy and overly salty. We were 3 and payed around 250$ in total for 3 entrées, 3 main courses, 1 drink. Obviously skipped desserts since we weren't impressed by the meal. I really do not get why this restaurant has such good reviews. Clearly overpriced and overrated. I give 2 stars only because the waiters were nice (although the service was pretty ordinary too). I do not recommend this restaurant unless you have low standards for restaurants...

Nice ambiance! The staff are super polite despite having such a busy shift. Still find the food too expensive but it was a nice experience :) I super love my Avril Sour cocktail tho!
