D	D Cooke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over an hour and a half to get a pair of glasses fitted. Only one optician working, while the rest of the staff were useless. Would not recommend this location.
J	Jesse Melanson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Above and beyond service. Called for appointment in wake of COVID and things just opening back up. They were able to fit me in within 2 days. Very reasonable price of $80 for an eye exam. Sample contacts were provided without commitment to purchase as I need to wait till next paycheque. They provided me with the samples anyways. Very pleased!

A	Allison Shatford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went a couple of weeks ago for an eye exam. Had to wait at least 45 minutes although I had booked in advance. Exam was fine. Some sales pressure to purchase new glasses which is understandable given COVID impacts and I did have some help to find a pair I liked. However my experience soured when I was given an incomplete prescription. When I asked for a complete version I was refused with little explanation - likely the reason is to ensure they keep some of my information so that I can only purchase glasses from them. Not impressed. Didn't buy glasses - left and will take my and my family's business elsewhere from now on.
D	Deb Har on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On Sept. 12, 2020 I was pleasantly surprised by the great service I received from their staff when I ordered my glasses. I was also lucky because unbeknownst to me that September was a sale month. I went back in on Sept. 26 to pick up my new glasses and I was served once again by the same young blond lady who was super friendly, patient and helpful the first time. I think her name was Karie. I would recommend this place to others.

M	Mélanie Lefebvre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with Laurier Optical at Carlingwood Shopping mall has turned out to be very disappointing. While I was on vacation i noticed that my very expensive lens were turning yellow and there is now a film on the lens. By the time I was able to get an appointment to see the manager I was told that it was 2 months past my 2 year plan for coverage. They offered my the opportunity to come back with a credit for another pair of glasses. I ask who would trust paying for another pair of glasses when a company won't accept responsibility for the poor workmanship of the glasses I am currently having to wear till I can get an appointment to get a new pair. I will definitely be going to Pearle Vision.
J	Jason Sears on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is horible. Paul the optician refused to give me the pd number for my daughters prescription. Said he didn't have to.. I check the actual law on this and in fact They have to give it to me. I was so shocked that they are more concerned about selling me another over priced set of glasses for my daughter versus giving us our prescription in full. I would never recommend this store or any other Laurier optical location. Paul eventually called his branch manager at the rideau location and she tried to get us kicked out of the mall. Security shows up as she did call security and the security guard called Ottawa police services as we were in the right. Unreal service. Oddly there was another lady standing beside me that got her pd number and Paul said he made a mistake and shouldn't have given it to her. Then another lady said I just paid for glasses 10 minutes ago and I want my pd number. Again Paul refused... so did the branch manager at rideau location.
