★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been here several times. The food is always quite good. However this time I found the service to be not up to the usual standards. I felt quite rushed. She was removing my plate and cleaning up before I’d swallowed my last bite. The server was less than friendly. Also, what happened to the chips and salsa you used to serve before meals?
Hopefully next time is better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful restaurant. Locally owned. We were served by the owner and he (and everyone else working there) are absolutely amazing. Great service, amazing atmosphere, and deliciously authentic food!! Highly recommended to anyone in or passing through the Red Deer/Sylvan area. Next time we’ll be trying to mega-margaritas ?

Upon being seated I was served tortilla chips, salsa and a water. The servers are friendly and efficient. Ordered the special which was pulled pork tacos that came with rice and beans. Well priced for the portion of food. The decor has a charm to it. Quite authentic and delicious. Would visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve come here a few times and it’s a great little place, I like the vibes and authentic Mexican feel. This time we had a beef burrito, shrimp quesadilla, tacos carnitas, shrimp, guacamole and deep fried ice cream. The burrito wasn’t the best. The shrimp quesadilla was quite good but could use a bit more flavour. The tacos carnitas: we were expecting more of a shredded pork but it was thick cut pieces but it did have good flavour. The guacamole was very delicious, definitely my favourite part of the meal. The deep fried ice cream wasn’t very good, the outside tasted stale. Overall a decent Mexican food experience.
