My son had the rack of ribs, my wife had a beef burrito and I had a beef fajita. Every thing came with a generous helping of rice and refried beans. I tried the spicy salsa which was very hot but delicious ( use sparingly). We definitely return to Jose Jose

We also got the empanada and it had the most tasty corn bread batter ever. This was a truly a treat, and a new found favorite. Very authentic. The owner is so endearing. You can tell there’s love and care put into every dish. The ambiance was also great and we felt like we were actually on a mini holiday right here in Red Deer. La comida aquí es la mejor!

I love the authentic mexican spice, very flavourful and very spicy the way I like it... makes my nose run. Generous portions. Prices are excellent. Owner is very friendly and a wonderful cook. Best local authentic Mexican restaurant - I will be returning to for sure. Highly recommend this place! Excellent food, service, and prices!

The 1-10 spiciness range seems to be based on a volume of what goes into it the food. So 1 or 2 could still wind up being quite spicy. However if you're not a regular they typically give it to you on the side so that you can add your own to taste.

Excellent meals, not expensive by any means and super friendly service. We'll be back! (7 is hot. You'll find out what I mean!)
