★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is pretty random on quality. Sometimes you get adequate amounts of food that is hot and as fresh as it ever gets as places like this. However more often than not it is pretty average. Today however was one of the low, low days. Friday, Feb 26th 2021 at 4:40 pm. Ordered large mexi fries deluxe and a super beef burrito. What I got was a portion that was smaller than a regular mexi fries deluxe that was very cold and gross. Very poorly put together as well as if a child did it. The super beef was a little better but again half the size as normal. It took me about 3 minutes to eat $14 worth of food. Ridiculous! I am not kidding about the size!! The LARGE mexi fries deluxe barely covered the bottom of the plate or maybe it didn't quite cover it. Not piled up. Just approximately 10 tators with a tiny bit of toppings.
I went through the drive through. I think it is common for places like this to give the most outrageous garbage to people that are driving away and seldom will come back. Not cool Taco Time in Sylvan!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely rude service. Tried to order in the drive thru and the lady taking our order kept cutting me off and just kept yelling WHAT?? Whenever I said anything. And then was Extremely rude to us at the window. Will never be returning to that location

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even if we're in Red Deer, I will always drive out of my way to go to the Sylvan Lake Taco Time. The owner is humble and kind and works every job like his employees do. He always remembers me and my family (OK...I frequent a lot and have a weird order but still!), has never messed up my order (and Ive been going there for 10 years now!) and sometimes gives us little surprises (today we got an ice cream taco...and its flippin delicious!!) Establishments like this make me feel blessed to live in a small town - where you're actually a person and not just a customer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here today and the lady taking my order sounded very judgmental with what I was ordering, just not a very good customer service voice. When I got up to the window I got my food quickly but I didn’t get what I ordered, I was supposed to have a combo with my burrito and didn’t get that. And all my burrito had on it was just the meat which was not what I ordered. The lady at the window was laughing and made me feel very judged with the way she took my order and treated me at the window.

I called the store to let them know literally on the phone with a girl. she said she just changed shifts and no one has that color hair there.. as she's saying that my bf pulls a 2nd hair out his mouth from his burrito. i told the woman right now he's pulling another hair out his mouth and just hung up. No we don't want another burrito.
