★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited about 20 minutes to be seated with no acknowledgement from the staff. It appeared like it wasn't very busy as there were several empty tables.
We walked out as more people continued to pile in, nobody was seated including the two families there before us, and no members of the staff acknowledged any of the new guests entering either.
Smelled really good, we were really excited to eat, but didn't feel like waiting indefinitely until a staff member either decided to seat guests or let us know how long the wait would be.
Literally, zero customer service so its actually hard to give a rating based on anything other than feeling unwelcome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is amazing, they are truly wonderful people. This restaurant has been a part of Red Deer for decades. A few updates to the menu and the decor would definitely bring this icon of Red Deer into the 21st century. Sadly it has begun to show its age.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For twenty years I have been passing this place and always wondered what the service or food was like. Today my curiosities have been laid to rest as I had one of the best breakfast dining experiences of my life. This eatery puts others to shame with its warm service and hot scrumptious meals. I cannot wait to explore the lunch options at a further time, I know that I won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place for breakfast, food was amazing! Old-school experience (no fancy upgrades or changes to interior) which is great for reminding me of growing up in the 90s. Clean and decent size to accommodate large groups. Will visit again! The staff were all hardworking and nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great breakfast option. Very clean, eggs Benny to die for and pancakes are great. Very good service always took care of you. Been going her for years never had a bad experience. Staff is very friendly. Would recommend. Will be coming back to this place very soon. Coffee is always fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was in Red Deer for work but had a whole day off and decided to go here for breakfast, it was just down the block from my hotel and easily accessible. Was quite busy but I got a table right away. It's a neat place because it feels like your back in the 1950s or 60s. My server was very friendly, fast and attentive. The food was delicious and enough for me to have breakfast again the next day with my leftovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good breakfast and generous serving sizes. I always give extra points when a place - such as this one - does ‘shredded’ hash browns. I went o. A Sunday so it was busy but we did not wait to long.
