Lansdowne Dental Centre - Richmond

I had a bad dentist tell me I needed to go to his other office to have a broken tooth removed and another tooth added to my partial in a week and wanted me to pay now for it. I walked away from the appointment. My fiancée was at a new dentist he found near our home and that dentist was able to see me today. I was so surprised when he said he could save my tooth and proceeded to do so. This Dentist is amazing, he is super friendly, explained everything and made sure I was frozen. Him and the other staff are super friendly, they’re able to get you in pretty quick. We have found our new dentist and couldn’t be happier. I can’t thank them enough. :D

Love that the dentist/surgeon is honest. Will tell you it will hurt...unlike some of the dentist I previously went to and say it won't hurt a bit. My experience with the nurses/assistants here are nice. Love them the most. Super friendly and caring. The doctors/dentists here are alright. Sometimes a good experience, sometimes bad. Nothing I'd say is terrible though. The issue I have is with the lady at reception. Majority of the time she has an unfriendly attitude (it's not just me, but many others as well have the same experience). If she's in a good mood and she likes you, she'll be nice and friendly. It annoys me when being pushy, and force me to make my next appointment ahead of time. If I say no the first time, it's a no.

It is always nice leaving with nice sparkling teeth. The staff are always friendly and professional. Convenient location with tons of parking and easily accessible by public transportation.

Today is my first time to try Dr. Tang. She is very friendly and patient to describe everything to me. I had tried few Hygienist before, never have friendly, patient, fast and good gesture as "ka fu" before. He did awesome job today.. As long as, I don't feel painful, While he wash my teeth.

If I could give these people 6,7,8,9,10 stars out of 5, I'd totally do so in a heartbeat! Special thanks to the two receptionists working in the front desk today (Tues Feb 1 2022, at around 12:30pm-3:30pm), and Dr. Tang and her assistant - 100% would recommend this lovely team to anyone. Long read, but here is why: Back story, today (Feb 1), my mother and I visited Lansdowne Dental Centre out of desperation as mom was having severe toothache and had a very swollen right cheek... The dentist we usually went to was closed; in fact, pretty much ALL clinics and dentists located in Richmond were closed today as it's Lunar New Year..... Landowne Dental Centre was literally our 5th stop, after visiting multiple clinics / dental offices that were either closed or turned us away. When we got there, we were greeted by the two receptionists and we promptly told them we needed a walk-in appointment. Initially, they kindly explained that they were fully booked, so the earliest appointment would be tomorrow morning. But after listening to our full story and hearing that my last resort would be to bring mom to the ER due to her severe swelling, they were able to squeeze mom in "for at least an X-ray first", and promised to see if an actual appointment could be arranged for tomorrow or earlier. The fact that the two receptionists were willing to listen, and think on their feet was absolutely amazing. Already a 10/10 experience. Before we knew it (literally as I was still filling out mom's forms), Dr. Tang had already come out to greet us, and before we knew it, an xray was already taken. Just as we thought the patient care at this office was already top-notch, already as good as it could get, and thought that we'll be back tomorrow, Dr. Tang and her assistant, realizing how distressed mom was, and how much pain she was in.. wow'ed us even more by letting us know that they'll try fixing mom's broken tooth on the spot. ..I won't get into the gory details, but just know that the PROFESSIONALISM, CARE, PATIENCE, and overall, PERFECT client experience provided by this team today was definitely one worthy of this lengthy Google review. 100% will return again and recommend to others. Absolutely no complaints. Thank you again for turning our bad day around! Keep up the great work! P.S. parking was super easy too, +100 points. What more could one ask for?
