D	Dennis Bigras on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noted front brakes dusting, brought in for assessment, told front brakes pads , rotor, and caliper need replacement. Put on 8000 km after repair, still noted signs of brake dusting wear. Which is concerning for premature pad wear. In doing an inspection the wheel didn't seem to free wheel when jack up, it seem to stop rotating at the same area on one rotation of the wheel, which I did not expect. Talk to Lanpro about seeing that issue along with seeing the same brake dusting condition that I went in for repair in the first place. Was told by them that the rotor has a high spot on it surface to spread brake pads after use and that is why the wheel doesn't rotate freely. I've had time to investigate since that service and not able to find any info on that claim. What I found is when pressure for applying the brakes is relived the pads will be slightly touching the surface and in review with my mechanic he's states the bearings also have some give which allows pads to loosen this slight touch from the rotor surface in reducing fiction. He's not aware of having a bump on a rotor surface for proper operation, and when he resurfaces a rotor it is a straight cut across that surface, therefore having a high spot would not be possible. I'm not saying their giving out faults information but there appears to be a difference in opinion that I'm noting. I would have gone back to Lanpro for a review but I live in Alberta. That said they did help me get back on the road the same day so appreciated that part of the service.

They are straight forward about what repairs are needed and inform you about services your vehicle will (likely) soon need, so you can prepare for that. They have also managed to squeeze me in when I desperately needed my car repaired - a huge thank you to them for this!!!! I would recommend them to anyone looking for an auto care center. No one wants to deal with having to repair their vehicle, but when you do, this is the place you should go. ?

I went down to check out the car. Not only did I walk away from this experience a happy car owner but a person who is going to be using lanpro for my service needs and I will be referring friends and family there too. Matt was awesome! He took me through the entire process. I was delighted to also receive a phone call a few days later asking how the car was doing and how I was enjoying it. But anyway, what I would like to mention is the excellent service that Landpro provides. These guys make it hard to not leave them a good review. Great communication and a clear description of what being done on the bill. Surprise after a surprise from the Peace of mind checkup to the welcome package I just received. Pretty innovative stuff. Price is probably a bit on the higher side but for people that value the time and just want to get things done with, then it's a good place to go to. Overall, I'm impressed. This business is going to places.

My vehicle assessment was honest and accurate, but I did not feel pressured and was able to choose the services I felt were affordable without hassle.... even though it probably needed more work! Ha!
