I went to their office and they wouldn’t let me wait in the waiting room. So I sat in my car for 2 hours waiting for them to call my phone. I went inside and they said 2 people left in front of me. Waited 30 more minutes and went back in to see what was going on. They claimed they tried to call me and it went to VM. My iPhone had no missed calls and they did not leave a voicemail. They then informed me I would have to start the wait at the bottom of the list and was looking at another 2 hour wait. I asked why they couldn’t bump me to the top of the list as I’ve been patiently waiting and they said they won’t do that. Very annoying.

I had just moved to Saskatoon and found out I was pregnant. When a women's clinic in town was rather rude to me (told me they needed a doctors note saying I was pregnant and that they'd only see me for 6 weeks post baby - all of which was told rudely to me as I was crying on the phone - no compassion at all) So I went to Lakeside to get a doctor's note. When I was on the phone with the doc and crying he did everything in his power to help calm me down. When I went inside to chat he told me about their awesome team of family docs and hooked me up with the amazing Dr. Vickle . The treatment and professionalism is just amazing and we love going to lakeside

Convenient place for us to walk-in because it is close to my home. I understand that the receptionist told me to wait for next slot because I was late a few minutes after she called. Her work is hard so I don’t mind. But try to avoid Dr Benjamin Ponn who likes to prescribe very expensive and useless medicine.

There are some great doctors here…but…I have had some concerns of my own regarding being rushed through appointments with my family doctor here and confusing mix ups with specialist referrals. But I was quite upset when I suggested this clinic to my partner who has a history of high blood pressure (we wanted to get him in sooner than his family doctor could see him). He had been having high blood pressure for a few weeks and finally made it to city to have it checked. We waited two hours for the walk in doctor to quickly take his blood pressure and to tell him he’s young (and not overweight) and not to worry about it and sent him on his way. When my partner finally got into his family doctor at a different clinic, his doctor checked his pressure and sent him for blood work and put him on meds. The blood work showed that there was very much to be concerned about and that medication and changes were needed. I used to really like this clinic but it seems the some of walk-in doctors and family doctors aren’t taking time to listen to and address concerns anymore. Just in and out.

Was there for a walk in because my wife was having a miscarriage. Dr. Bernardo was perfectly fine during the appointment, gave us some good advice and was generally supportive. However, the ball got dropped when she told us that she would have her assistant book an emergency ultrasound the following Monday. My wife did not get a call, and if it hadn't been for the fact that she is good friends with an ultrasound tech, she would have sat around waiting for a week before they actually bothered to call her back. When asked why they took so long, they told her that Dr. Bernardo was off all week and didn't put the requisition in. So you just leave patients hanging when there's a possibility of an ectopic pregnancy? We only got the care we needed because we took it into our own hands, and that could have been a potentially dangerous situation for someone who doesn't have access to those resources. Had we seen some of the reviews about this clinic's horrible track record for following up with their patients, we'd have never gone here in the first place.

Terrible receptionist at the walk in clinic here. My wife needed to see a doctor in a short notice so we went to this clinic since it very close to our home. Biggest mistake, waited for two hour in the car. They called us and we missed the call by a minute. So instead of calling back and waste time we walked in and the receptionist was like you guys missed a call so you are at the bottom of the list again. Which means two more hours of waiting if we want to see a doctor. I read reviews about the receptionists in this clinic after and a lot of people have very similar complains. Such terrible customer service from a health care worker is unacceptable. She basically refused my sick wife service because she decided her two minute delayed response wasn’t worth communicating to the doctor. If you want to be disagreeable and uncompromising then why are you in customer service?? People come to the clinic cause they already got problems they are dealing with, no one needs you to make it any worse for them. Stop spreading unnecessary misery and find something els to do…

Parking lot is large with multiple entries/exits. Staff was patient and friendly. The wait times were a bit long and I had been waiting for a little over an hour on a Saturday afternoon. I saw Dr. Katherine Thompson and she provided outstanding care. I was able to fill the prescription right at lakeside so it saved me a trip elsewhere. Overall a really great experience.

Their walk-in clinic was very organized. They always post their wait times on their website. You can wait in your car if you don’t want to be in the waiting room and they’ll call you when it’s your turn. Mondays are apparently their busiest day. The doctor I saw was professional, he never dismissed any of my concerns. He listened carefully and took the time to educate when it was appropriate. I left feeling heard and reassured. I would absolutely recommend this clinic. There’s a pharmacy right next door too.
