Sheets were clean but bedspread had greasy black stains, mattress cover stained,crumbs on counter, dirt, gravel and garbage on floor behind garbage can . Entry door is moldy and peeling it's so rotting garbage all over around deck. I won't recommend.
H	Hélène Gagnon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID!! worst experience ever. rooms are uncomfortable, very dated, and unsafe. our window would not shut, the handle was broken. beddings are minimal, AC barely worked and was super noisy. smoke detector started beeping at around 10 pm and continued to do so all night. because the office is closed at night until 7 am, there’s no staff around which is also unsafe. we had to endure the beeping all night (my husband tried to disconnect the machine but couldn’t). in the morning we complained and the staff couldn’t fix it either. we checked out early. not worth the 100$

No air conditioner in my room, but it was cool enough considering it was 27 degrees outside. Try and get room 6, I hid $10 in there somewhere for a lucky person.?
G	Greg Lemon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 1 night whe passing through the area late August 2021. My Room (2) was small but big enough to house the (1) queen bed. Bed was comfortable, sheets & pillowcases were clean, crisp white cotton, pillow was good. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette (with mini fridge, microwave & mini coffee brewer) were all clean. Bed cover and floor carpet tiles were pretty dated, but in reasonable condition. NOTE The Co op gas station doubles as their main reception/ check in point and when it closes at 10:00 pm, so too does the motel staff, so DON T BE LATE FOR CHECK IN & there'll be No Night Service of any kind available. You re on your own after 10:00. Its definitely not a 5 star hotel, but, for $103.00 ($122.00 tx included), it was clean and sufficient to spend the night. I would stay again if necessary.
a	anndrea welsh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You know, for an old place with the reviews I read, I was very pleasantly surprised. I was expecting bugs and cigar burns from all the dramatic negative reviews. Yes it's outdated, and the rooms are small with creaky spongy beds. However it's clean, there is a shower to cleans after a day of travel, and it smelled fresh. Most of my negativity is towards kenora itself. What an absolute.......uhg. Anyways, this town is crazy expensive when it comes to rooms, I fully recommend Lake Vu if you're traveling alone or with a spouse and are on a budget. I don't know if other rooms have 2 beds, but ours only had 1 and was a double. We slept, we left.
W	William McDonough on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was fine. My problems with it were a lack of bath tub which doesn't actually bother me too much. Merely preference of mine. My main reason for low rating is how wifi wouldn't connect to my phone in my room. I connected to it outside but once in my room it couldn't reach. The convenient store with it is rad though. 2 stars is okay. It's not bad for a quick night to sleep.
