The manager in this office is the rudest person ever “Mohammed” is childish rude unprofessional. I don’t understand how person like him is in charge.

We have been happily living here since 2008, that is until CapReit Property Management purchased our building. Ever since we have had nothing but issues. They fired our onsite superintendent who was amazing and replaced him with a subpar management office that does less than the bare minimum. They do not respond to service requests in a timely manner. We have had an open request to repair water damage for over 3 months that has yet to be resolved. Their communication and organization is poor, we have had to fill out the same forms to confirm our parking spot multiple times, we have had workers knock on our door to request entry with no prior notice and it took them over a month to fix our buzzer code because they programmed our phone number incorrectly. We are now having issues with roofing workers dripping tar and debris onto our balcony, damaging our property which we were not given any preparation instructions or notice to prepare for the scheduled construction other than it may be noisy throughout the day. I do not recommend living in a building managed by this company as you will receive nothing but overpriced headaches.

Ive been living in the building for 2.5 years now. I used you like it until the new management Capreit has taken over. I was on the night shift at the time while they had the roofers working so it was incredibly loud while I’m trying to sleep, can I make these noises at 3am to a normal resident and keep them up all night for six weeks? Along with this, they had to paint my door while I wasn’t home, the water was off for more than 24 hours on many accounts without notices. When I went from night shift to day shift some alarms kept going off every hour throughout the whole night interrupting my family’s sleep (and probably the rest of the building) when everybody has to work and go to school the next morning. With all this going on.. first, they don’t care about your well being. I’ve asked many times for an extra parking spot, they did an audit but have heard nothing back yet still. On two different occasions I’ve had random people who don’t live in the building park in my parking spot when I come home from work, why is this even happening? I’m not paying monthly for them. Second, the washers and dryers are never working properly, there’s always notes on them from residents that one dryer works but there’s no heat and one or two more machines are broken as they don’t seem to care to fix them. Lastly, you’ll see some ants roaming around the sink, garbage, cupboards and plugs. I may as well live outside. I personally think that the prices now for newcomers is ridiculous and way overpriced. Ever since Capreit has been into effect it has been very inconvenient and a terrible experience for my family and I. we have found a way nicer, way more affordable place with all upgraded appliances and are moving very shortly without any outside pets.
