โ โ โ โ โ I've been going to this restaurant for decades, but the food I ordered today was disappointing because the salmon sashimi and beef tataki were not moist and the beef looked like it had been boiled for a long time. The anticipation for a glass of beer was gone. Bento was fine

There food is fresh and delicious.. My sister and I treat ourselves once in awhile. We even had the honor of meeting the owner a wonderful fellow very pleasant.
You get the true Japanese cuisine. I will refer this place to everyone.

โ โ โ โ โ Great lunch bentos! I got bento B with sashimi and tempura. Got 7 thick slices of sashimi. Comes with with miso soup and rice, salad, a deep fried salmon side with sweet chili sauce, tempura is very crispy with mix of shrimp and veggies all for $14! I was also craving their negitoro and chop chop maki! Maki rools were both $4.50!! So good! Will be back for more :)

โ โ โ โ โ It was a spontaneous visit to Kyoto and it didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly and helpful with our food choices. The portion and prices were surprisingly reasonable. The restaurant was tastefully decorated. Looking forward to return and trying some of the other items on the menu. Make sure you register your car licence. That's it! Overall a very good experience.

โ โ โ โ โ For a restaurant like this the prices were unexpectedly reasonable. My huge bowl of rice and beef curry cost 14.50 which I thought was pretty good. The restaurant was well decorated with Japanese cultural symbols, paintings and calligraphy on the walls. I think the food was not exceptional, but it was good (especially after considering the price). The staff are friendly, too.
