It’s appears poorly prepped, portions are small, appearance is horrible, taste is ok but very expensive.
I found the rice to be cold and hard (atypical of sushi...), it feels that there was no heart or effort put into making the sushi look good. It just feels to me and looks like someone slapped some salmon onto the rice. Rolled it up and said kumbaya, that’s good enough for a sushi plate that costs 15.99. To be honest, I thought it was sort of on par but at the same worse than supermarket sushi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently found out they opened a location on campus located on the north end of hubmall and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed the tuna and salmon was very fresh as were all the other ingredients, presentation was nice and the staff was very friendly and quick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite place to grab food on campus BY FAR! The food is always incredible, it blows my mind and taste buds away every time. The food itself is so fresh and well made. I can say enough good things about Sushi Shop! Try the sushi burritos! They’re wild and my new go to. Highly HIGHLY recommend: love y’all. Keep it up. :0)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, honestly am a little bias towards Japanese food but it's really nice to see some on campus. The fish taste fresh and I enjoy eating the poke bowls. It is expensive though and will take a bit to prepare the food (unless it was pre-prepped), so not too friendly towards students but if you have time and a little extra money, try coming here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried their Akanasu Hosomaki rolls and added avocado to them. They tasted delicious. If you love sushi … you gotta try this place out if you want to try vegetarian sushi .. also the avocado rolls are good too.
