★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Korean restaurant! Love their pork bulgogi and bibimbap. Family run with friendly staff and food is consistently amazing. Prices are very fair with large portions and I believe they currently have a discount for pick up. Food is quick, usually only 15-20 min for your order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING & AUTHENIC Korean food!!! Mrs. jo is fantastic and the food is the best Korean I have ever had!! The sweet and spicy special Gaya sauce it the PERFET balance of spicy and sweet!! 100% recommend this place for eat-in or take-out! Been eating here for years

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my favourite place to grab a meal, either alone or with friends when I attended the U of A. The prices are reasonable and the quality and taste are excellent. I've eaten at many Korean restaurants between Edmonton and Calgary and Gaya serves my absolute favourite Yukgaejang! It gets pretty busy during regular meal times but the service is quick, efficient, and friendly! If it was too busy I'd just get something for takeout and head back to campus. If you're a university student with no car and a craving for Korean food, this is the place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Korean place in University area, unassuming but charming, small but cozy and food is quite tasty! Comes out very quick so an awesome place if you are in a bit of a hurry or looking for a fast bite. Staff is super funny and energetic and knows how to please! Good place I finally managed to get into and enjoyed a great meal! Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite korean place in Edmonton. Serves the best kimchi guaranteed, I don't buy my kimchi from the market I always get from here it's so yummy. The cook is a pro. Love her so much , the food is always tasty. Tried dining in before covid and tried takeout after. It's always delicious. The rice is perfectly cokked. I recommend the japchae vegetarian , you can ask for tofu instead of meat. It's super delicious. The waitress is super friendly and sweet I usually go with her recommendations. She knows. When I told her I don't want pork and asked if they cook with soju which she said they don't, she told me about the replacements they offer for such cases. She was really nice. It's a bit expensive I have to say but it's worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice prices and really tasty food! I got the Gaya noodle I think (sweet and spicy). It was served perfectly hot. The server (had pink highlights in their hair) was very nice and patient with our group and let us finish our meal a little after closing while they were cleaning up, which was very appreciated!

Ordered Seolleongtang (Ox Bone soup), it tasted super authentic and delicious! When it comes to knowing whether a Korean restaurant is good or not is by tasting their soups!
This place did a great job with making my tummy AND my wallet happy! Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the items!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! If you work at the hospital try this. Service was very friendly and quick, I made it back to work with time to spare.
The bibimbap tasted very fresh and homemade, and the price was very reasonable for the portion size. You can adjust the spice because the sauce is on the side.
If you haven't tried this place yet, this is your sign to go now!
