About Kreative Kidz Childcare

My name is Corene Cordrey and I am the director of Kreative Kidz Childcare in Sherwood Park. I have been in the daycare industry for over 25 years. I have my Child and Youth Care diploma and my Early Childhood Development diploma. My greatest accomplishment and joy is to own my daycare in the community that I live in and my children go to school in. I pride myself in wanting to provide your child/ren with the very best child care experience and a life time of great memories. I look forward to meeting you and taking care of your family.

I feel confident going to work and leaving my son in their very capable hands. All of my questions were answered when I initially visited after having a bad experience at a dayhome and I’m so glad I found this place. The family centered approach is ideal for my circumstances and the Director (Corene) and staff are incredibly personable and caring. I go to work knowing that my son is safe and cared for as if he was one of their own children. I also appreciate the attention to detail I've observed regarding food prep and cleaning procedures. I would recommend Kreative Kidz to any parent looking for an great place to take their child.

She makes it a priority to know the children by name and to know what their interests are. This philosophy is passed down to all her employees. I have two children at the daycare and have been attending since 2017. Both of them love attending, thoroughly enjoy the variety of activities/experiences offered (even Zumba classes, library staff visits, musicians who come in to play, etc.). Weather dependant, the kids go outside daily and either play in an enclosed park area or in the green space in behind. I highly recommend Kreative Kids Daycare.

Corene, the owner, is a wonderful person who does the best at meeting individual expectations and needs for the children. Every staff member is always happy and has great communication at pick up. My kids have never come home unhappy and always look forward to going to play with their friends and see all their teachers. I am so happy to have found such a great place so close to home. And one bonus is there is a bus that can drive my daughter to her school a few days a week. It adds to the great adventures. Thank you Kreative kids!

My daughter is soon to be 5 and she has been attending this location since she was a senior toddler (2.5 yrs old). She has made so many great friends and loves attending each day. I am excited to see crafts and projects coming home each week too. They really keep them busy with indoor and outdoor activities. In the summer months they bring petting zoos, bubble stations, etc into the classrooms so there is no transportation required to do additional fun things. Also they do weekly frozen treat days! Highly recommend this location to anybody I haven't already :)

The staff are very quick to respond to any concerns or requests, have been extremely accommodating and that is priceless to working parents, especially shift workers. I have always felt like this is a safe, loving, educational environment for them. They had so much fun daily and with special events planned for the kids. Our kids love their daycare and tell stories of the staff and their friends - we feel so lucky.

We met with Corene and immediately felt at home, she cares about the children and goes above and beyond to make them comfortable. She is always open for conversation and has such a vibrant attitude. There have been many times I walk into the room and find my young toddler sitting in her lap playing or getting a hug. The staff are wonderful they really get to know the kids and the parents. I appreciate the attention that they give to the children, they make them feel safe and keep them engaged throughout the day. I trust everyone working there to be open and honest with the activities of the day and to keep my children safe. Should an issue arise Corene and the rest of the staff are all respectful and understanding. My two boys love to go to daycare every day, they spend a lot of time outside, they bring in a variety of programs throughout the year, the meals they provide are healthy. My eldest has been in many of the rooms at the center; I love how every room is really clean, fun and tailored for the children in each room. The kids are all engaged and excited to be there. I could go on forever about all the ways Kreative Kidz is a phenomenal daycare but the most imperative statement is that I never question what type of care my boys receive. I know they are being loved, nurtured, comforted and encouraged to grow, learn and explore in a warm and caring environment. Our family highly recommends Kreative Kidz Childcare if you are looking for a daycare or out of school care program.

She is truly and amazing person and I could have not asked for a better daycare. My daughter loves all the other staff as well! 100% highly recommend.

You can see that they love what they do, and truly care about the kids. They are very thorough with accident reports (even little nics and scraps) The owner, Corene, has always been very quick to respond to any questions/concerns I have, and I love her patient, fun, bubbly personality! They are very thorough with cleaning every single day. They also get the kids outside every day (when the weather is permitting.) I highly recommend kreative kids daycare!
