C	CliffnKris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We dropped in to Haliburton to go the Art Gallery there, (it's a good one!) and saw lots of traffic tripping into the Kozy Korner, so we followed them. This is where the locals come on a Sunday after church - we have it on good authority! The special was Chili in a Tortilla Bowl, or a choice of soups. One of us had the Chili and he pronounced it a winner. He said he'd come back even if it wasn't in a tortilla bowl! The restaurant is comfortable - lots of booths and tables, and the service was fast and friendly. Coffee was an added bonus - hot and fresh. All around us folks were visiting and ordering. Someone actually wandered over to have a look at the 'special' on our table, before he ordered. The acoustics in the place absorbed most of the sound, so we didn't have to shout. This is MomnPop at it's best; it has been established in Haliburton for a long time and we found it easy going and likeable. We'll go back!
M	M. B. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great breakfast with my other half Sunday morning. It was good, coffee tasted great. Clean environment, and it was packed! Loved the history of the restaurant, staff were very friendly and polite. Also cashier was great at advising local shops. Took a bit of time to get the food, but seeing how busy they were, and knowing that everything was made fresh to order, we were understanding. Will be back again soon :)

It's nice they serve EVERYTHING on their menu, all day long, for those of us who aren't big egg eaters. So basically, good. I'd give it a 3.75 on the rating - nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about either.

Service was not as quick as it should be for a place like this but we have seen staffing issues many places, our order was not accurate. We got things we didn't order but decided to power through. Unfortunately there was not a lot of flavor. We tried it but doubt we'll be back.

Presentation was mediocre, and I was one person, but didn't get my drink until after I requested it and the toast came separate. Also didn't get a refill. Not my favorite restaurant experience but not the worst.
d	dog lover on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the restaurant is closed, I just wanted to leave a review regarding my last visit. The waitress I got was Karen, and she is absolutely wonderful at her job. I have never felt so welcome and comfortable in a restaurant like I have in the Kosy, and this was all because of Karen! She is very outgoing, and is fast at what she does. I will definitely be coming back, hope your doing well Karen!
A	Amber Pettipas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our waitress dawn was amazing and all the food was hot and fresh. We enjoyed the food too much to get a picture but The dessert was to good not to show. While not flashy in presentation - it was a warming experience on an otherwise chilly day - super family friendly, would totally recommend.
