โ โ โ โ โ Honestly the best bubble tea in Calgary (and arguably in Western Canada). This location is really spacious and the drinks are super consistent with the original location on Centre Street.

โ โ โ โ โ We ordered the Mango pomelo sago with coconut milk. I got mine with brown sugar crystal boba and I enjoyed it. The favours are very fresh and tasty even though I got mine with 30% sugar. I am looking forward to trying more from this place as it is one of the better bubble tea places I have tried.

โ โ โ โ โ I really liked it! The staff was very nice with my many questions about toppings! :)
I got a Crunchy Ovaltine Milkshake, which was SO DECADENT. Loved the crispy texture with the chewy tapioca balls in a creamy chocolate milkshake. It was 10/10 deliciously dreamy.
I also had their mango green tea, which was light with a lovely hint of floral and only sliiiiightly bitter (I find most green teas are).
The toppings:
Golden pearl is your standard tapioca base, just blonde color. Cooked well, good chew.
Crystal pearl is gel based, they had regular and brown sugar. I got the brown sugar, and it had a nice hint of that sweet, caramel-y flavor.
Juicy pearls (aka popping pearls)...oooooh yes! I tried the strawberry and that is a very yummy little pop of flavor!
Mochi mochi was a very interesting topping. Unlike mochi, the rice product, I was told this is made from fresh cream. It really tastes like fresh dairy. The chewy, sticky, thick texture is addictively pleasing.
Love the variety of options at this place. Many things to try, I will be back for sure!

โ โ โ โ โ I wish I could give this place a 5 stars because the location is very nice and clean, the staff was friendly enough and the drinks were good but the reason Iโm giving only 3 stars is because a lot of their drinks contains milk and they donโt allow substitutions even though they have coconut milk on their menu, considering the amount of people nowadays who are lactose intolerant this is a big issue. The only other thing I didnโt really like was the pearls on my drink were quite hard not as chewy as I like.
I really hope they consider using milk alternatives so I can come back and edit my review. Also I tried checking their website to send a complaint about it directly to them but thereโs no option besides calling the store which I donโt think will do much.

โ โ โ โ โ From the photo you can see the mango pomelo with coconut milk is ALL coconut milk. There is no mango flavor, only a few pieces of fruit. Typically this drink is orange or pale orange but here at Koi, its all white.
Very disappointing, not worth $8

โ โ โ โ โ I go to Koi religiously and not only are the staff wonderful but the atmosphere and drinks are delightful, It is a great place just to relax and study, with peaceful vibes and good music, Iโve never had a bad experience there, and I cannot preach about the Supermix enough, it is my favourite go to drink <3 Thank you Koi staff

โ โ โ โ โ I have tried a variety of delicious drinks from this place, and I will continue to go there for bubble tea.
The staff are very friendly, and are well informed about their products. They give excellent recommendations for new things to try from the array of flavours and teas they have.
The drinks are from 500ml to 1L and are pretty reasonably priced considering how much you are getting.

โ โ โ โ โ Really clean place and friendly staff. Very white and bright atmosphere (not my cup of tea but not offensive). Prices are average or a bit pricier than average but good value for the fresh fruit, tea quality, and service. Large is really large (see photo) and medium is the regular size of a large. They offer quite a different menu and unique toppings. Parking on street short term or behind back.
