I have now used Neal and his Knight Contracting team for 3 home renovations. The first time we used them, they did a kitchen refresh in our condo. The work was done on time and everything was delivered as promised. During this job the thing I was impressed with was the care and attention Neal and his team put into making sure my home stayed clean during the refresh. They did a lot of their work outside which meant going up and down 2 flights of stairs. Neal didn't want our home layered in dust. This respect for our property as well as the finished product allowed us to believe we had finally found "our contractor." As an added bonus we put our condo up on the market 6 months after the reno and it sold within 24 hours in a soft market. When we moved into our new house we had Knight Contracting come in and do a master bathroom renovation and Neal helped us with some design recommendations and we ended up with the most beautiful and functional shower. Me being a big man, I wanted a shower that would accommodate my height as well as our growing family. This shower has been my dream come true and for me and now my kids and we all love it as much as we did 6 years ago when the work was done. Finally, this past year we brought Neal and the Knight Contracting team in to do a major Kitchen replacement as well as some work updating the main floor of our home. This is by far the biggest project we have ever taken on in regards to cost and scope. Neal worked with us through all the stages, introduced us to his trades that he would be bringing in, and delivered an incredible product. His attention to detail and the bottom line is the thing I value most. He does business the right way. In the end Neal completed a major renovation in our home ON TIME and ON BUDGET. We weren't left without a kitchen for months on end, because Neal worked to coordinate his work and his trades so everything would be done on time. He also worked hard to ensure the quote he produced for us was accurate and inline with the final invoice. He knew we were financing the renovation and we would not have any extra finances. It is not easy to "trust" contractors but my family and I have put our trust in Neal and Knight Contracting three different times and we have yet to be disappointed. We are so incredibly happy with everything in our experience with Knight Custom Homes! It is now just over a year since Neal and his team finished the work and we are still over the moon with the workmanship, attention to detail and customer service! When we made the decision to go ahead with our kitchen Reno we had 3 companies come in to give us a quote. After meeting with this company I knew right away I wanted to go with them. New ideas, respect for our budget line and promise of quality control at every level sold me. Our kitchen was not a huge job for this company however it was a huge one in our books. I can honestly say it turned out better than I hoped or expected... and I had high hopes and big expectations!! We have what feels like a whole new main floor due to brighter lighting, a new window and white cupboards with fantastic lighting in the kitchen. This company cleaned up at the end of every work day, they kept the hours laid out in the contract, important as we were living in the house during the process . They also had great referrals for the carpet and tile we added to the Reno . Neal is honest, upfront and operates with a high level of integrity. That is worth solid gold when you put your house into his hands ! We highly recommend Knight Custom Homes!!! We have been in the kitchen 5 months now, we had a couple small issues come up, they took care of it right away. We absolutely love our new kitchen and still walk into it feeling like we did the first day after completion - delighted!

We hired Knight Contracting for two home renovation projects. The one project was to finish our basement and to put in an extra room and bathroom. All the work was done with professionalism, excellence and great attention to detail. The owner, Neal, does a great job with consulting, talking through expectations and ideas as well as your budget and does great with follow through and giving you the finished project inside your budget. We also did a main floor renovation with Knight Contracting, complete with Granite counter tops for the bathrooms and Kitchen and hardwood flooring throughout. Once again Neal dealt with us in a very professional manner and we love the finished product. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone!

A year ago I contracted with Knight Custom Homes to build a library on the 3rd level of my home. Neal was fantastic to work with and was keen on providing the best customer service! There were no issues and the job was done efficiently, cleanly and within budget and estimate! I highly recommend Neal and his team for your next project!!

I would highly recommend Neal and his team at Knight Custom Homes. We hired Neal to manage a $150,000 renovation to our home including a full repaint (cabinets included), new flooring throughout (LVP, carpet and tile), new baseboards/casing throughout, 4 bathrooms, custom cabinetry for a mudroom/pantry and office, master bathroom re-tile/re-fixture/re-design. Neal was extremely honest and open on both timeline and budget and always looped me in if there were any hiccups (i.e. our basement foundation had a 7" void that was not discovered by the home inspection and required spray foam to jack it up) or overages that required my attention. Neal has dealt with any deficiency encountered in a timely manner and the finished product was better than we could have imagined. All in all, if you want an honest company, you should consider Knight Custom Homes.

Knight Custom Homes did a great job with our kitchen and bathroom renovation. They were recommended to us by my designer Susan at Live Well Interiors and we immediately liked the ideas that Neal brought to the table. Neal was very professional and always maintained contact to ensure we were aware of the developments. All of the trades people that Neal uses are of the highest quality from cabinets, to painting and flooring and electrical to the cleaners who made everything sparkle . We made frequent visits to the site and when we asked for some changes Neal was open to our ideas and did his best to give us what we wanted. Even though it meant early mornings and late nights for some of the trades they came in on time and under budget. We love our “new” home and would highly recommend Knight Custom Homes to those who are thinking of doing a large or small renovation.

Knight Custom Homes was amazing to work with. From the budgeting and planning stages all the way to completion they far exceeded our expectations at every stage of the renovation. Neal's attention to detail is incredible and he promptly took care of all challenges that presented itself along the way to hit our move in date. The before and after of our place is mind-blowing but I highly valued their process as well. We were treated with the same care and attention as a million dollar home and I would easily recommend this team of professionals to anyone looking to renovate or build.
