Kimberley Homes is a very good quality builder. Dealing with this company was a pleasure. The staff are very knowledgeable and professional. My house is an infill and the superintendent assigned to this project did an outstanding job as did the rest of the staff. Thank you Kimberley Homes!

We built a custom home with Kimberley Homes in 2019-2020, and have been very happy with the outcome. Our sales rep was amazing, very helpful and she took the time with us on multiple occasions to get the details right. Our hole was dug a couple weeks before Covid hit, and there were a lot of uncertainties as to what was going to happen. It was expected that there would be delays, however the build process continued on time. We also moved in on time and on schedule. There was some frustration once we were passed over to a New Home Expert after Orientation. This person is supposed to be there to maintain all the communications, updated change orders, home updates and address any concerns via email. Details were being missed via email, delays in responses from her and frustration with miscommunication between the office and workers on site. I felt I had to be extra organized and on top of each stage in the build process, as I did not want any of the important items missed down the road in our home. On occasion when I expressed this, we received an apology that Covid was creating an increased workload. Regardless, we are still making a massive purchase, expecting to feel confident that our New Home Expert has it handled as indicated from the beginning. It was also very difficult to speak to anyone else about the issues (other than the workers on site) via upper management, as you are only able to speak to this person directly. Aside from this, all contractors on site including our Site Supt's went above and beyond. They made sure everything was completed appropriately, and tending to issues as they came up - no questions asked. Speaking to the Kimberley team on site really put our minds at ease during our walk thru's. We wished we could have gone into our home during the build process more often, as it is such an exciting experience to see it come together. However, we did get to do several walk-thru's and extra's when we requested without issue. The quality of our home and attention to detail is impressive. Many of the upgrade options you pay with other builders come standard with Kimberley. I felt we received premium quality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home builder to family/friends, and already have. We are very proud to call this our home, and yes we would definitely build with Kimberley again in the future (if we would ever actually leave this one!) Thank you!!

While working with Kimberley Homes we always felt that we were in excellent hands. During the entire process we had the utmost confidence that our project was being completed to Kimberley's excellent standards. At completion and on moving day, we were even more astounded at the detail and distinct quality of our Kimberley home. Perfect strangers walking down our street are always commenting on the beauty and obvious craftmanship of our Kimberley Home.

Kimberley Homes met and exceeded our expectations in nearly all aspects of the new home build process. Starting with sales team of Amie B. and Rebecca who patiently waited (over a full year) for us to 100% commit to the big decision to build which involved deciding to move away from our home of 18 years from a great neighbourhood and uproot our 3 teenagers further into the sticks of SW Edmonton. Amie B. was an expert in the finalization of the plans (even naming bedroom by child's name) and giving great input and advice. The selection process was very organized and fun (colours, finishes, fixtures, etc.) and we could work within the generous allowances. The construction phase we worked with pros Kimberley P. (PM) and Chris L. (site super). Construction flowed smoothly and finished essentially on time. Particularly liked when the project was in the finishing stages that Kimberley did not rush the finishes and took some extra time with their QA/QC process to try and make sure every detail was finished and systems were all working. Very minimal deficiencies which minimized the number of trades having to come back after possession. Great job, we are very happy with our new home.

Kimberly Homes built my house. Although I have no issues with that, when it came to the sidewalk to the garage it is another story. The concrete walk originally would heave against the man door jamming it. Kimberly's solution was to raise the door however the concrete walk still heaves against the garage wrecking the parging making it look perpetually unfinished. Although I understand the man door works it is a incredible eye sore. Whats worse this all wouldn't have happened if they had simply installed the concrete properly and placed some Buffalo board to accommodate the swell. It feels like Kimberly homes did the old bait and switch where they promised one thing but delivered another. I bought a new house so this sort of thing wouldn't happen. It's pretty clear they don't care about there customers. Be careful with them they definitely arent home builder of the year now. Update: I feel it is important to set some facts straight. Kimberly is well aware the Alberta new home warrenty program has no bearing in this issue as it is a detached garage and is therefore not covered. It is also important to note the offer to fix the parging and metal flashing at the bottom of the garage door is a temporary solution as in the winter the concrete will swell and destroy the parging and flashing again as it did the year before. I think it is a large stretch of the imagination to claim that you stand behind the craftsmanship of your product if when you make a mistake your solution is to only offer a temporary cosmetic solution. The real truth is you are deffering the real problem off the the homeowner down the road and this is likely what any prospective buying can expect. Kimberly's customer service stops after you have signed on the dotted line. If that's what kimberly stands for im not buying and you shouldn't too.

We moved into our brand new Kimberley Home in July 2019 and are so happy with it! Kathy and Kimberly in the Sales Office were so patient, accommodating and just fun to work with throughout the process. We had just experienced a complete nightmare with another builder and were scared to buy a new home again. Our Kimberley Homes experience made us believe again that you can be happy with a new home. Thank you!

Kimberley built our house which we moved in in February. Today there are still endless problems we have to deal with. I have been patient and giving them chances to fix the issues. But after five months I am really tired and my patience is diminishing. I want to write out our experience so others will not have to go through what we have been going through in the past 15 months. There are too many things that happened and it will take me a while to write them all out. It looks like Google Reviews does not allow posting multiple entries for one business, so I will have to keep editing this one post. Several subcontractors of Kimberley are really good and I want to acknowledge their great work first. STC cabinets and Ashley Flooring both have great people who are professional and passionate about what they do. It was a pleasure working with them. I also want to point out that our house is an infill in a mature neighborhood, which adds lots of complexities to construction. So I am only speaking to Kimberley's ability to build an infill. They may be able to do very well building a standard house or townhouses on an empty lot. We saw they built lots of houses around the city, so we chose them to build our house thinking that they are professional and do quality work.
