Kids U - McKnight - Calgary

We love Kids U McKnight! Before choosing a daycare for our daughter we did lots of research and went to see some places. From the first time we step our feet in this place we knew it was the right one. We are very picky/protective type of parents and no other place can compare to the quality of Kids U. We were very impressed with their structure and how they are organized to run like a school for little ones. They do put effort in teaching instead of only watching the kids. My daughter loves to go there and we are very pleased with the staff and teachers. I love how good they are communicating, so I know how her day is going, what she did and learned so we can interact with her sharing her experiences. They always went above and beyond to meet our expectations and help her to develop emotionally, socially and intellectually. They even offered us extra support when we went through a critical phase dealing with some health issues in the family. They do treat us as a family and not just one more number. We highly recommend Kids U! We are sure you won't regret this decision.

Our children have been attending KidsU Mcknight for the past four and a half years and have been through the infants, junior pre-school and preschool programs. Their excitement to go to school each day and the smiles on their faces at pick-up is a true testament to the quality programing and teachers at this campus! Would definitely recommend.

We love the staff and environment at Kids U McKnight! Our daughter has been here for over a year, and she loves "going to school" :) The staff are incredibly professional, and there's lots to learn but also to play. The structure is great for our child, while also allowing her a ton of freedom to explore and express herself. The school has also been excellent during COVID times, with lots of policies and procedures to keep our family safe. Their communication is excellent, and responses to our questions are always quick and professional. We would recommend Kids U to anyone considering it for their child!

This is the best day care in Calgary! My oldest son was at Kids U from age 1 up and now he is flourishing in grade 1 thanks to the amazing teachers at Kids U McKnight! My youngest son is in his last year here and we are going to miss the amazing experience of having our boys attend Kids U. The facility is modern and has been renovated with child in mind. This daycare sustains superlative planning of curriculum using the latest pedagogy from research based educational experts. The food is amazing and has broadened both my boys eating horizons (who ever thought my boy would like curry?). The staff are hard working, friendly and they truly develop positive relationships with their students (and parents). This is not just a day care: this is a place where your child's brain will truly flourish. This is a place where you know your child will be safe and that every penny you spent was actually worth while. We are personally of the mind set that investing early on in our child's education is critical. Of course for some parents "its not worth it" but for many of us, only the best will do! Parents are generally a very friendly bunch here with people opening doors for each other etc. If I had to do it all over again I would choose Kids U McKnight for certain. I was encouraged to write this review and I did not hesitate because the teachers deserve recognition for their effort and efficacy as educators.

My son has been going to this facility since this past April where he started out at the junior program and then transitioned to the senior preschool over the summer. I highly recommend this great facility for whether you are looking for daycare, preschool whether part time or full time. We have had and continue to have an amazing experience here. I myself have toured many preschools and daycares prior to choosing this one. I came back several times for another tour (which is not usual but I really wanted to feel confident with my choice), and asked a lot of questions which they were very professional and positive in answering. I was as well a worried parent to entrust my child in someone's hands and they handled that very well with understanding. They genuinely care about your kids; I remember they even went out of their way to ask more questions in orientation to really get to know your child. The program coordinator Jessica is super amazing and does an exceptional job at handling the campus, super patient and extremely supportive. She is the sweetest person you will ever meet and really cares about you. I feel like she and the campus want to work with you as a team to help with your child's needs and learning. When I request to have updates on my child or any concerns, they address that and really try to work around with what your needs are. I honestly wish they would have an elementary school because my son would definitely be the first to enroll. One of the biggest expectations I wanted to have from a facility, as I am a minority with a sikh faith background and my son ties a turban was to have exposure to other cultures and for his school to be supportive of how we practice our religion. They have been supportive, kind and even keen to learn more so that they could understand our way of life more. They make you feel welcome, regardless of who you are. There is a good culture diversity, children and teachers as well. For my son, he has grown so well ever since he started here. I've seen a difference in every aspect of him, in terms of social, emotion, physical and academic development. My youngest one will for sure be enrolling here when the time comes. I think Jessica and the campus handled the pandemic really well and I could not been any more satisfied with everything.

Best preschool, my daughter became so disciplined and expressive after joining Kids U. Teachers and staff are so friendly and adaptable. My daughter started when she was 2 years old, didnt understand English but in just 6 months she was so comfortable and made so many friends.. In these COVID times when kids are so shy, such preschools are actually need of the hour.? Thank you.

This daycare is great however I happened to be one of the people who were taken advantage of. We are new to Calgary and we are about 20 minutes away from the daycare. It took me about 4 hours back and forth traveling from this daycare after they told me their other location near my house was fully filled so I had no other choice but to go to this location. I paid 150$ for registration then they wanted another $1200.00+ I happily paid our fee. I was then charged an extra $1400.00 without my consent on my credit card and did not hear back from the daycare. There have been a number of issues with this daycare and the sad part is I am contently ignored and laughed at when I call to get answers. I will be disputing the extra charges that were unauthorized on my credit card. I was also told that I would still have to pay the full month fee even though my child attended their daycare for 3 days. I would have appreciated being partially charged considering the daycare location is not within traveling distance and we did not learn this until going there a few times. If you choose to go with this daycare just be advised that they may take extra money without your knowledge. They will not refund any money back to you and they will ignore you if you have valid concerns regarding your child's belonging. I had a number of issues to which I can not write here but I would not recommend Kids U based on my personal experience. I am now out over $3000.00 and it was a big lesson learned. Thanks Kids U

We started at the infant care program recently and really love it so far. My baby is very happy and energetic after coming home each day which assured me he had a lot of fun here. I love the daily reports and how teachers manage to update in a prompt manner. All in all, I love this campus and all staff are very supportive. I’m thrilled to see how happy my baby is every day, not to mention he learns many things as well.
