★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Along with the playgrounds in High Park, Kew Garden Playground is one of the best outdoor public playgrounds for preschoolers in all of Metro Toronto. The only downside is its location in the congested Beaches area which makes it somewhat hard to get to and from. Expect long traffic delays and parking challenges during weekends and nice spring, summer and fall days. Right off the Queen St. Streetcar. It's extremely popular for good reason. Sadly public bathrooms only open in the warmer months. Free parking can sometimes be had on the North-South street on the East side of Kew Garden park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park, well kept. Lots of benches, not a lot of benches in the shade. Bring your own chair if you want a seat in the shade or a blanket to sit on. Otherwise, it's a great park. We spent the day here with my 5 year old and had to drag her out at the end of the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a cute little part. The kids enjoyed it a lot. Some spots showing its age but still a fun place to stop by and play. Neighborhood is great and street parking can be found with a little searching.
Wading pool was a hit with my 6 year old. She made friends with a group of other little kids and the pool is staffed by two lifeguards.
The bathrooms were open and as clean as a wading pool bathroom can be. Soap was full and working sinks.
Finished the day with a walk down at the boardwalk before heading home. Lots to do in this area.
