★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sitting in sunshine grill, heard some positive reviews of the place and decided to have brunch, for a potential gathering for an employee brunch this weekend. Not after today's experience, customer service is atrocious, you sweat yourself in a restaurant that is barely filled while 2 servers take there time getting with clients.I also had to walk to the kitchen staff and place my own order. Staff is destroying the experience to a place I thought would be an experience to remember. I won't be recomming this place to anyone and am ashamed, being an active member in the beaches. Get your act together Sunset, wheres the people that care about delivering the best service. Just lost a customer for life. Such a shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent selection for breakfast with fair prices. Specials and mainstays are recommended. Smoked salmon eggs Benedict is quite good. The staff are friendly and attentive - filled our coffee twice and brought water and always checking if you need anything. Pictured is the Meat Lovers breakfast - $14.99 with toast and coffee. Delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Weekday visit around 9:30 am. Good things...great location on Queen street. Lots of parking in area either paid on Queen or free (if you can find it) on the sidestreets.
Great staff. Friendly and quick service.
Reasonable prices . We both had the breakfast special of eggs and bacon, coffee, toast, potatoes. $21.
Food was okay. Potatoes burnt in places. Coffee was less than inspiring.
Atmosphere. Dated and run down. Washrooms are in the basement. I would recommend avoiding this trip if you can because I would describe it as dank.
Open kitchen in middle of restaurant which looked clean.
They have a ramp at the front door so you could probably get a stroller/walker/wheelchair in but it would be a small challenge to do so. As well this would only give access to the front/lower section by the kitchen which would not be suitable for larger groups.
I would give this a pass on any future visits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our Sunday go-to. Along with the good food, big portions and nice hot cup of coffee- the friendly staff is what makes this Diner a 5-star Breakfast place! The staff truly resonates with the warmth of this cute diner tucked on Queen East. Go here for the second time and the friendly faces will start to recognise you. Also this is the only Diner in Toronto that serves a huge Chicken burger at $6.95.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The original location of a classic breakfast spot! Lovely people working in this spacious diner, and the food is exactly what you need on a chilly morning. Nice to see a "Lite" menu for more manageable portions too, hope to see that option at the other locations!
