Kelowna Medical Imaging

My husband went in for a back x-ray (for a suspected fracture) with a confirmed by an x-ray at emerg) broken shoulder in a hard splint from his shoulder to his hand. The technician told him to put his arms over his head". She didn't ask what his confirmed injury was to his arm/shoulder area. Just sighed and said "oh great!" when he told he was was unable to move his arm and was in great pain. Everyone that comes to this place will be injured in some way and is likely in pain. Patients need to be treated with kindness and respect no matter how it inconveniences the way you normally do things. His injury and pain were not meant to be an inconvenience to you. Please remember that your patients need patience. They are people in pain, not just numbers. *It should be noted that this was an early morning appointment, not at the end of a long trying day. I understand working with the public can be very trying, but compassion and empathy for people who are hurt and scared is just as important as your technical skills in their journey to wellness. The technician was a mature woman who may have forgotten her empathy over the years. I'm sorry that the patients make your job so inconvenient for you to do, but your lack of professionalism and empathy makes this experience much more difficult than it needs to be for people who are already dealing with enough.

Thursday of the long weekend and they got me in right away, and called to get my results to my dr. Right away. Very grateful. Thank you very much!

I've been here twice. The first time the receptionist was rude but the younger tec was nice. Today was the second visit to the office. The receptionist was very nice but the old lady tec was very rude. She was very ignorant and said " didn't your doctor tell you that we take walkins 9 to 3". They also do not have a sign up stating that. I come to this location because its the best location for me. Just take this into consideration when going to this office.

I gave 5 stars out of faith you might say, though it would be convenient if one could change his mind, like just in case. You see, I can’t start my car - as it goes ra ira ira ira ira ira a lot, but it doesn’t seem to want to go ruuum-ruuum eh, oh, and b, well I’m supposed to be getting an X-ray as we speak. Well, I doubt they will try the old you know have to pay us whatever money amount we had decided seems fair, but if they did, well, I might be upset enough to take one of them stars away.

Needed to get an xray on my knee and went in as walk-in patient. Both the Lovely lady at the front and the technician were very kind and efficient. Being that it was my first time for an X-Ray, I was a bit nervous, especially after reading the google reviews. But my experience was a double thumbs up and I would have no problems going back to the Cooper location :)

called me to come in around 12:50 for my x-ray. I came there, tried knocking, doors locked tried calling but no one answered.

Pleasant experience at reception, no waiting and I was a few minutes early! My tech for the bone scan and a recent x-ray were young, friendly and very professional. A great experience! Good Job.

Good experience, had a tech who was very kind/patient with me as I have a bad anxiety disorder. Was in and out pretty quick too :)
