V	Vernon Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very mediocre sushi. For the price you can get better sushi elsewhere. The surf clams are literally the smallest surf clams I have seen. The chop chop nigiri is mostly mayo I couldn't taste any scallop and the mayo wasn't even a good flavour. The scallops that came with the chirashi bowl were sandy. The roe they use is unusually very red.

I was a little taken aback when I entered. I was expecting a typical small restaurant. In fact, this is a quintessential hold in the wall sushi joint. I took a minute or so to look over the menu. I settled on the shrimp and scallop roll. It was well prepared and flavorful. The four stars are simply due to the lack of quantity of food to review for consistency of deliciousness. I will certainly make an effort to get back here next time I'm in town

With seating for eight at tables, and a further three along the window, Pricing is suburb, and honestly, at first glance you'd believe this to be just another cheap sushi place. The pieces just don't add up however, and if you stick it out, you'll be treated to delicately balanced example of what sushi can be. Rice was flawless, delicate, well formed, distinct grains with lovely mouth feel. Fish of all kinds, treated with care, and of good quality. Whatever you do, don't order through "skip the dishes" the commission they extract is brutal. Call in, or walk past. Place you order and do some shopping before returning. As a one man show (at least the night we where there) it is a process, but worth the wait!
e	eva moodley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ some of the best takeout sushi we’ve had! it’s so hard to find fresh and actually good sushi in edmonton, but Kami was perfect. we were so surprised picking up our order, it was arranged so beautifully and it really took some care. everything tasted amazing, the nigiri was fresh and had THE BEST rice ratio and the rolls were so flavourful. we didnt think we’d be able to finish it all but it was so good we had to.
