An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

J	Jody Fayant on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This pub is really close to home for me but I tend to think it’s the best one in the city. I’ve been to most and I always seem to have the most fun here! I love the staff and especially my favourite bartender Crystal who knows how to make a great dangle! Really fun vibe with tons of pretty girls. I highly recommend stopping in on the weekends. 5 out of 5.

P	P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came in for the game tonight. First server wasn't too interested in us. Didn't bring water's. When asked for water, brought 1 for 2 of us. Then, a hair in the margarita which she did end up taking off the bill. Salad was good wings were good! The server, would immediately turn her back to us when we still were deciding on ordering things. When paying the bill, she didn't give us any receipt nor say anything when leaving after we paid. Then we moved tables as the smaller side of the restaurant was closing, so we moved to the bigger side. The server we had was welcoming and kind. We ordered 5 tacos. I cannot exaggerate this, but the tacos were literally cold. The meat was cold when initially brought out. I had asked If tacos were suppose to be cold she said the tortilla was but not the beef/chicken. I touched the toppings in front of her and let her know that the meat is really cold. We had 1 taco to share to try and no sent it back. She did take off some from the amount which is not what we initially plan on happening when ordering food or letting them know how the food is.. we all go to places to eat and drink and enjoy but I will always be honest when paying for something! When I left my stomach started to hurt right away. Honestly seemed like they served us tacos whipped up in 1 minute. Or, they were literally sitting out at 1230 am and just served once ordered. We live in the area and have been a couple times and vibe is usually great and no problem like tonight, but not gonna lie it was pretty disappointing!

N	Nicholas Cameron on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The good: the food is delicious and the menu offering is unique and pleasant. Lots of drink options too! I found the prices were very reasonable as well! The bad: No customer service. I appreciate the button to press in the event you need assistance but the server's now rely on it too much so that they don't come by to check in on you after the meals are served. I don't think it's too much to ask for water/drink refills or the occasional "how's your meal?" We've taken a step back here team. Next, while I appreciate the sports decor, this interior is in need of a makeover. It's too dark and in need of a fresh coat of paint. Just my opinion.
A	Akshay Bhantooa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited during their Taco Tuesday which coincidentally fell on a game night. Server was great as was the crowd, however, the food... Ordered 3 of each type of taco and their garlic cheese bread. Cant say any of it was good. Beef was dry, chicken was dry, and the fish taco was just funny. We had to send back the first order of beef tacos since it was cold (was still lukewarm and dry when the "new" ones came out), and didn't finish the others. The fish taco had a piece of fish 1/3 the size of the shell and didn't taste great. The shell for the other two were hard shelled and tasted like crackers that were left out for a few days; an odd mix of chew and crunch that once you bit into it, the shell broke into a thousand pieces. The garlic cheese bread was also just meh. Given how busy it was and that it's their Taco Tuesday, you have some expectation that it'll be good, but I'm not sure how the beef and chicken can be that dry, and the hard shells to be intentionally made that way. Gave an extra start just because of the crowd and our server.
A	Adrian Hawkins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff. Great place to watch any games with a group of friends. Lots of different varieties on the menu from food & drinks. Menu selection for vegan/ flexatarian is getting better. The new Cauliflower wings are amazing & so is the Impossible burger.

The Hot Apple Cider drink has cinnamon in it which isn’t mentioned in the menu, if I’m not mistaken. It gave me heartburn. The server was nice and friendly but the service was super slow. I’ve been to sports bar that are better then this place. With that being said, this is by no means a bad place! But it can be better.
