I've been going to Julzz for over 15 years. She has always done a great job of taking care of my hair and educating me along the way. She is knowledgeable, creative and exceptionally kind! Her staff is friendly, professional and welcoming. During COVID, they follow protocol 100% and take your safety seriously. I have and would recommend anyone to this salon.

Jules is a professional and is really great with hair. How she manages to comb my hair without it hurting amazes me (if you see/feel my hair, you'll understand). The chats, laughter, and fun gives a very welcoming and warm atmosphere. Be prepared to groove with the great music she always has on ?. It's a bit pricy if you compare with others but you get what you pay for. I always leave feeling sexier and with a smile ?. And remember to book your next appointment before you leave because she books up really fast. Thanks Jules

Jackie was my stylist today and she was just amazing. She didn't just do my hair but she taught me how to look after my hair moving forward. She made me feel welcomed and they were all so professional. It was my first time going there and they made me feel so comfortable x

It was my first time having a silk press done and it won’t be the last. All of the staff members were very friendly! Angel was pleasant, professional and very gentle with my hair. I was very pleased with my experience. Thank you Angel!

I got my hair braided by Jules and it was an extremely good experience. Service was fast but thorough and professionally done. My braids were not too tight and not too heavy which is a new and very much welcome experience for me. I would 100% recommend Julzz Creations!

I have been bringing my girls to Julzz for NINE years!! Even when she was downtown, I would drive from Airdrie in a snow storm if need be. She and her team have been an amazing blessing to my family. She is patient, kind, and loving with my daughters. They have learned to love, protect and grow their hair. Now my youngest two are pre-teens they are making more of their own choices in regard to their styles and Julzz is supportive and encouraging of them. I am more than happy to spend the day watching, learning, and laughing with her, the time flies by and I ALWAYS leave with a smile on my face.

First and foremost my stylist, Tesha was very sweet and she did a great job meeting my request. I can still feel my scalp tinkling from the wonderful massage she gave. I would have given 5 stars for just dealing with Tesha alone, however, I will be giving 3 starts for my words of exchange with the owner, Julzz. I’ve never been to a salon before, but I’ve always wanted to support black salons, as most people within our community prefer the home stylist option for cost related reasons. I did my researched and loved that this one is run by a black woman. I made the appointment over the phone and I told them I have very short 4c hair but I’d like to know how my hair is progressing with a silk press (something I’ve never gotten before). When I arrived I chatted briefly with Tesha, showed her the style I wanted, but I also told her I understand it won’t look the same because my hair is very short and thin. But I just wanted my hair to be wavy. Tesha began to put curls after blowing it out but I figured she would comb it out afterwards to make it wavy (it wasn’t a big deal for me). Julzz was beside us styling another clients hair and Tesha asked her for advice on how to get my hair wavy like the photo I wanted. I showed Julzz the image (mind you I never made another comment after telling Tesha what style I wanted, I was just happy seeing my hair transform so I just stared at the mirror). After I showed Julzz the picture, she went on a rant about how my hair was too short and too thin for waves and kept on asking me if I “understood”, this lasted 2 minutes, no joke. I thought maybe it was a cultural thing and she just talked like that normally, however she then proceeded to ask me if I’ve ever been to her salon before, I replied no and she says “welcome”. What does that mean? It just seemed like she was intentionally trying to talk down to me for no reason. I wasn’t rude to my stylist, it was all smiles but very quiet since I’m just generally a shy person. Moving forward, I’m still thinking maybe this lady is not trying to be disrespectful on purpose. My stylist Tesha finished curling my hair and at this point I asked her to comb it out so I can get my waves. Julzz goes “ give her the comb and let her comb it out herself so she doesn’t keeping asking for different things”. At this point I know this lady is purposely giving attitude. Tesha tries to give me the comb and I tell her it’s ok just comb it out. I had no more exchange with the other lady but I thanked my wonderful stylist and even left her a tip. She’s great! However, I wont be returning to this salon as this is my absolute killer in dealing with business. I’m 27 years old and I have money, yet I had the owner talking down to me like I’m a child whose an inconvenience to her. Thank you again to my wonderful stylists , Tesha.

I usually love this place! they did a great job on my hair last year. But the stylist i had this time completely lacked in communication. On top of that, i paid over $200, and within the first week my hair started falling out, so im not too pleased.. but i would definitely come back, just not to this stylist. With the proper one, they do absolutely amazing work
