S	Stéphane Robert on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ J'hésitais à recourir de nouveau à un inspecteur en bâtiment pour l'achat d'une nouvelle maison. Les services obtenus par le passé m'avait grandement déçu. Rapport banal et simpliste. Cette année pour l'achat d'une nouvelle maison, j'ai appris que M. René Rioux était inspecteur en bâtiment. Comme la maison convoitée me soulevait des doutes et que je connaissait M. Rioux par le passé comme contracteur et ayant œuvré aussi pendant de nombreuses années dans le coffrage (fondation), j'ai fait appel à ses services. Le coût de l'inspection en valait vraiment la peine car plusieurs problèmes identifiés m'aurait coûté des dizaines de millier de dollars en mise à niveau du bâtiment (+50 000 $). Je n'ai finalement pas acheté la maison. Je poursuit mes recherches et je ferai appel de nouveau à M. Rioux pour mon prochain achat. J'ai été extrêmement bien accompagner tout au long du processus, avant, pendant et après la visite d'inspection. Un rapport extrêmement bien détaillé m'a été remis et je n'ai eu aucun doute à retirer mon offre d'achat en toute tranquillité d'esprit. Je le recommande à tous. Stéphane Robert. I was reluctant to use a building inspector again to buy a new house. The services obtained in the past had greatly disappointed me. Mundane and simplistic report. This year for the purchase of a new house, I learned that Mr. René Rioux was a building inspector. As the coveted house raised my doubts and I knew Mr. Rioux in the past as a contractor and having also worked for many years in the formwork (foundation), I called on his services. The cost of the inspection was really worth it because several problems identified would have cost me tens of thousands of dollars to upgrade the building (+ $ 50,000). I finally didn't buy the house. I am continuing my research and I will call Mr. Rioux again for my next purchase. I was extremely well supported throughout the process, before, during and after the inspection visit. An extremely detailed report was given to me and I had no doubts about withdrawing my offer to purchase with peace of mind. I recommend it to everyone. Stéphane Robert.

He wrote up his detailed inspection report within 24 hours and gives suggestions of how to fix the problems outlined in his report. He takes the time to explain everything and is always willing to help with any questions after the inspection is done. I would highly recommend Rene and he would be my first choice for any future inspections!

Rene has a lot of experience in constructions, you can noticed that he takes a look at every single detail in the house. He is a kind and patience person. He spent time to explain me how each system works in the house such as the heating, the electricity panel or how to change the filters. He also gave me a detailed report within 24hs where he detailed problems and how to fix them. In my case, he had to use a thermal device to detect a problem with an insulated wall and he gave me an additional report. He also gave me the photos in HD. I recommend Rene 100% and I will consider him in the future. He did a perfect job!
