Very professional service, I had the inspection on the same day. They patiently explained me all the technical details. I highly recommend them.

We retained this two-person company (father and son) to do a house inspection in Ahuntsic, they produced a report full of spelling errors which cleared the house from significant issues or red flags. Last week, about two months after the purchase of the house and three months after the inspection, significant water damage occured where water went through the roof and ceiling and started dripping heavily onto the floor of the second floor. The roofers who came to inspect the damage noticed defective roofwork, missing shingles, a missing membrane and open vents on the roof along with very visible signs of long term water damage as well as presence of mold in the attic. When faced with my request for reimbursement of the $850 spent on their 'inspection', Joe Rodrigues tells me they don't have to climb on the roof. On a subsequent email, the son proceeds to tell us that he had deemed it too dangerous to go on the roof. (The roof is 5 meters from the ground for a typical two-story house). They also tell us that the crawl space was too low for them to be able to inspect the frame of the roof. The roofers who did emergency repairs were however able to walk the entire length of the crawl space. Joe Rodrigues then points to a paragraph in their report where they advise to get an inspector specifically for the roof without mentioning a reason why this would be necessary. If Mr Rodrigues refuses to inspect roofs, he should mention it BEFORE accepting the engagement instead of mentioning it in his report on page 23 after having been paid and after having conducted the inspection. The roof is a crucial parr of the structure of a house, we would evidently not have retained Inspections Rodrigues had we known they would pick and choose what they wanted to inspect. At best, these people are plainly incompetent, at worst they are crooks. Litigation is ongoing. These people deserve to lose their license.

Joe and Michael inspected my home in Cote Saint Luc. They are honest and their inspection helped uncover several issues that allowed me to negotiate a better price to cover repairs prior to purchasing. Over the years I have used them for pre-inspections, residential inspections and more recently commercial inspections. I highly recommend them.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Joe and Michael are both consummate professionals, incredibly thorough, and have a talent for explaining their findings in a way that's easy to understand. They clearly have a deep understanding above and beyond the job requirement. They were easy to get a hold of and we booked an inspection quickly with very short notice. Mr. Rodrigues and his son did a very thorough inspection of a house we're in the process of buying. They walked us through the house and explained everything in detail as to what the main issues were, and what we needed to do to address them. They also provided an extremely detailed preliminary report (with pictures!) the very same day of the inspection. We are extremely satisfied with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a thorough home inspection!

I highly recommend these inspectors if you are in need of a pre-purchase inspection in the Saint-Hubert area. I had two inspections done by them. Their reports are concise and delivered within 48hrs. The two person team that was there for our inspection was very efficient, knowledgeable and take the time to explain their observations. They are certified, insured and make it well known what the limitations are for a home inspection. We did two inspections with this company. The first home they inspected for us had many major inadequacies and they saved us from buying a "lemon." Things that our real estate agent did not see and that the seller's own inspection did not reveal either. When we needed to inspect a second home we did not hesitate to request their services again. The second inspection was at the start of a snowstorm (the joys of purchasing in the winter). The weather conditions weren't ideal but they did let us know that for safety reasons that parts of the inspection could be missing. Had we had the time we would have scheduled another day but they did what they could and the report was still very thorough. Buying a home is an important investment, and I would not purchase an investment without doing the necessary research. I am glad to have used the services of Inspections Rodrigues for the purchase of my home.

Joe and Michael are consummate pros when it comes to home inspection. They were very thorough and walked us through the property in an informative and stress-free way. Joe and his son are in a class by themselves. Totally objective and impartial when they do an inspection. Joe is very thorough he checks everything, he was 100% correct on a minor fault on fireplace in my condo prior to purchasing it. He did an amazing job on a home I purchased as well. Gives a thorough report.
