My girlified stopped by the other day and had a check engine light checked. There tech Ali came out an was totally honest with her about what was going on and reassured her that it was nothing serious. Its great to know there are shops out there that look out for you. We are both students and cant afford to spend money on unnecessary repairs . I will definitely be going to jps in the future. We both appreciate your honesty.

Took my 2015 Diesel Grand Cherokee here for regular preventative maintanence (recommended by a co-worker). Great service! Knowledgeable about special vehicle services and honest. They didn't try to sell me unneeded parts or service. Thanks Peter and Stephanie!

JPS is, hands down, the BEST place where I've taken my Sprinter Van. The whole crew is very welcoming, warm, understanding. They will walk you through what service they've done on the van, take pictures along the way and send a detailed report to your phone. Such good care, really! Highly recommended!

Great service. Had my car towed to their shop, and though they were booked solid Peter listened carefully to my description of the problem and promised to investigate when they had time (2-7) days. To my amazement, they called the next afternoon and let me know that they found time to analyze the problem and replace the starter. Stephanie, at the front desk, was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I wish I can say I had a good experience like other as I had my hopes high based on the 5* reviews. Not the case. I loved their detailed info about all important parts of our car. Problem occurred when my brake pads were flagged for replacement to which I agreed. Upon arrival I noticed higher bill than expected - the reason being they replaced rotors along with the brake pads. Now there seems to be some disagreement about whether you need to replace rotors along with pads. In our case on a car with 56k km I would say it is not needed at all. Other places would machine the rotors if needed. Their mechanic told me "nobody does that anymore" (apparently, in fact North Shore Toyota dealership just did this for us on our other car) - a shop that doesn't care about customers wallet and the environment, how awesome! This however is not all that important as if I was told right away "we will be replacing brake pads along with rotors I could have made a decision based on this info. But instead, without telling me I am being served bill with no explanation. And that is the problem. Also what prompted me to write this review was the fact that the lady at the reception could clearly see me not being happy after our discussion and promised me that John (or whoever runs this place) will give me a call. You guessed it - no phone call till this day. Hence I will not be returning, and that is unfortunately too bad because we are company and my plan was to have our fleet serviced here. Edit/response: Dear Staphenie Thank you for your reply, I was just going to note that your technician Ali did not explained that it was under minimum machine specifications - he told me straight up it is a general practice at your shop to replace rotors when replacing pads. When I was referring to environment, this is what I meant - It is more environmentally friendly to machine rotors than to replace them with ones. It is all good though, no hard feelings

I stopped here near closing one evening when my check engine light came on and I experienced some troubles on the highway. The people working we so overwhelmingly kind. I was quite literally great with a smile and wave from the front window. They went out of their way to be helpful, ran diagnostics, and helped me out of the small pickle I was in. My issue was small and they resolved it free of charge. As a young woman with little mechanical knowledge their kindness, patience, and sincerity was so deeply appreciated. I will use this business anytime I need mechanic support in North Van! Thank you for your amazing customer support.

Clean shop with great service and knowledgeable mechanics . I took my 2007 VW Golf in for servicing and a check over and was so impressed with the detailed inspection report I was emailed after. With photos so I completely understood the condition of my entire car. Price was amazing for the service I received!! Highly recommend.
