I am impressed with the way John's office responded to my request for help. Kiran was very helpful and approachable. For me the real test is not the job done or not, but how did they respond to a citizens request and they passed it with great scores! Thanks a lot

My experience with this office was great! They were efficient in helping my family with some immigration limitations we were facing. Kiran was so helpful. With follow up emails and phone calls to keep me posted every step of the process. She stood in place of my family representing us with the IRCC. I have nothing but a wonderful experience. Your office was there for my family when we needed help the most. All I can say is thank you thank you. We are forever grateful ?

John Aldag does not listen to his constituents. Nor are emails (I have many receipts). I called his office his assistant told me “Mr.Aldag stands firmly with the Prime Minister”. Mr.Aldag, you are elected to serve your constituents not the PM. The lack of care for your own constituents is appalling. Your job is to represent your constituents even if that conflicts with Trudeau. Update April 29, 2022 As per Mr. Aldag’s response I followed up with his office a week ago late in the day. I was promised a call back Monday, April 25, 2022 which never came. I called again yesterday and was promised a call back which never came. I left a voicemail this morning. Not expecting any different result. Mr. Aldag please don’t apologize then ask me to follow up if you don’t plan to follow through. Which brings me back to your constituents are the ignored and no one is listening.

We had to cancel a family vacation in 2020. With things opening and our 10-year wedding anniversary happening this June we decided to book it. Our children’s passports have expired so we applied in person and were assured even though things were busy that our children’s new passports would arrive in plenty of time. When they didn’t arrive in our travel month, I began calling for updates. Our file was empty, and I was told to keep calling back but not much could be done until 10 business before travel. When that day arrived the agent put in a request for transfer and there would be no further updates after that, we just had to wait for a call. As the days moved closure to our departure, we became more aware of our dire situation. We realize many people weren’t getting through or getting passports in time regardless of travel dates. As we began to scramble to find a way, I received a tip that calling our local MP for support might help. That same day I reached out to our local MP John Aldag and explained our situation. I was immediately put through to team member Kiran Dhaliwal. Kiran walked us through step by step, her communication was outstanding, and we began to have a little hope that we might be able to go on our trip after all. At 2 days before departure, we finally received a phone call from the Surrey Passport. They had found our children’s passports in Mississauga and put in the request to have them scanned and transferred. On the day before departure, we picked up our children’s passports. Tear of joy were everywhere! I would like to thank a few people. Firstly, I want to thank the women that took the time to share the tip about the MP. These few moments of human kindness are what started this process, without it we wouldn’t be going. Next a huge thank you to our MP John Aldag and his team member Kiran Dhaliwal. Not only was communication amazing but we were just blown away that other people would care so much and do anything they could to help our family out. Lastly Julia Hobbs, she was the person who walked us through the final steps of picking up our passports. In a time that is completely stressful a person can act anyway; she chose genuine kindness. If you know of someone in a similar situation, please stop and share. Your moment of time could mean everything to someone else.

John Aldag is a really helpful person. Kiran Dhaliwal is very kind and generous if asked for help. She is always there to help the people around the community and whenever we faced any issues in the government department, she has always helped us. She is really kind and always follows up even after the problem is solved. She is easily approachable and understands the priority of the issue and works to the best of her ability to make sure that the issue is resolved.

My overall experience was wonderful. Kiran went above and beyond to help us with the immigration matter. She have great communication skills and very helpful nature. She is easily approachable and most of the time she herself contacted us to provide updates. My entire family is forever grateful. Thank you Kiran! Thank you John!

From last few weeks I was trying to get kids passport renewed for our planned trip. I spend hours each day to find online appointment for passport office. I was turned away from Surrey passport few times. with no information about what are my options. I also tried Vancouver office by reaching at 4 am to be in line up for urgent passport but was unsuccessful. After running from one passport location to another and flying date coming closer, I was extremely exhausted and loosing hope to renew my two kids passports, I reached John Alag office through the website. To my surprise, I received reply from Kiran, the very next day. She was very patient and listened to my situation and informed me that the passport situation vary each day and she cannot promise anything but will do what she can. Kiran tried to get an appointment 72 hours before our flight and was in touch with me constantly. I received call from passport office, the day I was suppose to fly and was provided with appointment to submit the applications on urgent base. Thank you so much Kiran for helping me out. You definitely did an incredible job.

I am impressed by the level of support provided by this office. Kiran has excellent communication skills, and was diligent in supporting us when we contacted her. She went above and beyond not only to ensure that our concerns were dealt with, but did so in a patient, calm, and highly communicative way.
