However, service was EXTREMELY slow. It took 25 minutes for us to get our food. Itโs 3:30 in the afternoon, not busy. There are still quite a few empty tables

โ โ โ โ โ This place has a huge selection of hot dogs with a Japanese fusion inspiration. I got the #2 okonomi dog and the #11 wagyu beef dog. Both were really good and were very reasonably priced. The actual sausage was flavourful and the toppings added a very distinct Japanese umami flavour. They also sell desserts and drinks on the menu. Will definitely go back to try other toppings/flavours. Perfect for a snack on the go while you shop around.

โ โ โ โ โ Unique blend of japanese inspired flavours and juicy hotdog. My favourite is the terimayo and okininomiyaki dog.
Their fries are also very yummy with a choice of many toppings.

โ โ โ โ โ I've always enjoyed their hotdogs which has a Japanese twist: bonito flakes, UMAMI, teriyaki sauce, Japanese mayo, seaweed, and my favourite, wasabi mayo. Because of COVID-19, this location is cashless, which I prefer. You can only pay with credit card and debit. The hotdogs have always been a favourite of mine, and I usually crave it every so often. One thing I hope they change is to avoid using styrofoam containers for the hotdogs. Paper box would be more environmentally friendly.

โ โ โ โ โ Hot dog was hot and juicy and was an interesting experience in the mouth.
The bun was really disappointing and I donโt think the toppings really made it any tastier? I also thought that the weiner would be bigger but it was smaller than I expected, definitely snack size. Iโll give it a try again but this is my initial review!

The Japadog location in the outlet mall was empty when I arrived. They had a large board with pictures of the types of items making a visual buyer whoโs not familiar with location easy to find something to eat.
Portion size was good, service was up to a window/till to order. The employee taking order was very polite and informative. Making choosing easy. I did order the Love Meat and butter shoyu fries with a fountain drink.
Overall rating 4/5 stars.

โ โ โ โ โ A hot dog shop that inspired Japanese foods and itโs very famous hot dog shop in Vancouver. You can find some unique hot dogs in menu at here.
I always choice Oroshi(grated radish on sausage) or croquette(sausage and croquettes in a bun) If you take croquette hot dog, you will be definitely getting full!!
