★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called Jackie to get a preapproval for a new property that will close in 3 years that I signed on. She took my call on a Sunday which is great because not all brokers do that. The call went well and I explained the preapproval conditions the builder has. Everything was good and smooth up until she learned that I renewed my current mortgage with TD for 3 years. As soon as that happened, she immediately accused me of pushing her to put the cart before the horse... literally her words. She said she'll call me back because she needs to think about this. Never called back and sent me the following text within 5 minutes: "Arsany not interested in working you. Jackie ( Northwood Mortage)"
I was so confused and had no clue what happened or why she acted so hostile, but my guess is that it has something to do with me renewing with TD for 3 years. Personally, a terrible experience. I went with another broker who did the entire thing for me in under 2 weeks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used Jackie Smith's services on a few occasions and she's always met my needs with mortgages.Where Jackie really shines is when you're looking for that mortgage for your second, third or even fourth piece of property. One time, I decided to use the services of another mortgage broker, my wife's brother-in-law. I figured he's family right? He couldnt help me and I lost the house. I went back to Jackie and got approved for another similar price property. I will never use anybody else for my mortgage needs again
