The Bala Falls Road is experiencing a renaissance and Jack and Stella are very much at the heart of this shift, along with the new Bala Falls Pub and Second Life Restoration. Jack and Stella have fantastic sandwiches which might otherwise be called "artisan" sandwiches with great bread and fresh ingredients. They take their coffee seriously, with great cappuccinos, espresso and other fine coffees. Small salads and other snacks are a refreshing change from the ordinary and worthy of any excellent specialty shop in Toronto or elsewhere up here in Muskoka. The prices are hugely reasonable and the staff uber friendly. What makes Jack and Stella even better is their assortment of Terroni pasta's, peppers and other prepared foods worthy of a whole foods or better. Mixed in with an assortment of hip and chic products like shirts, merchandise and really well curated houseware products - I guess you get the picture. I have yet to think of anything they could improve. Every time I go it is simply better, clean as a whistle, bright and the coffee so damn worthy. This is the kind of place that makes Muskoka work. And Bala a destination. If you are thinking of just a few places that put Muskoka on the map, this is one of those places. Plus boat parking! Hard to beat!

It's the perfect place to have a relaxing morning coffee or enjoy a nice, tasty lunch. If you're in Bala and looking for a place to have coffee or a meal, I highly recommend it.

Nice selection of artisanal drinks and frozen foods. Interesting and unique items, priced quite high - they are catering to a certain type of clientele. As others have mentioned the dock space and view is awesome, Muskoka views are unmatched. Looking forward to my vanilla iced latte next time I’m in town.
