I was traveling through Calgary & wanted to stop at a jeweler while I was here to change bands on my watch, as I live in a small town that doesn't have anyone who can do that. After a quick Google search, this place was the closest to my hotel. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted & I said that I wasn't there to purchase anything but needed a small repair. Dylan greeted me, was very friendly, & took my watch in right away. Obviously being a Rolex dealer means that they're used to performing a high level of service but as someone who wasn't buying anything new & had a pretty simple repair, the service level stayed the same. Appreciate it greatly, will gladly come back again!

I had the most positive experience with J. Vair Anderson. I have always been hoping to acquire 2 watches as a milestone anniversary celebration gift each for my wife and I. So I walked in one day, met Paul and explained the watches I was hoping to purchase. It was a very pleasant conversation, Paul was taking notes and was eagerly interested to see how J Vair can be part of such an important personal milestone. Icing to the cake, it was also great to "talk shop" with a fellow watch enthusiast like Paul, we both had similar watches on wrist. After waiting for some time (not too long, however duration will not be disclosed in this review), I received a call from Paul with great news that both watches were available and ready to be picked up. Both watches purchased are of course absolutely spectacular. There is however no need to further mention the watches, only if it serves as testament to the meticulous consideration this establishment puts towards its reputation - they only carry the best and most reputable brands. With much thanks to J. Vair, my wife and I now have a timeless keepsakes to commemorate our anniversary. We remember our J Vair experience very fondly, a purchase process that could have been stressful, was in fact fun, smooth, and very pleasant. Paul was part of an exceptional team of gentlemen that helped with adjusting our watches and attending to our questions - Seth and Ed, were absolutely helpful all throughout as well. I originally inquired on a Rolex via email through their website. Seth Besenski responded back to me to inform me about the current state of obtaining a Rolex may take some time. We discussed what other brands J. Vair Anderson carries as I was looking to replace my Apple Watch with something more professional. After doing a bit of my own research I decided to visit Seth in person at the store. While waiting for Seth to finish helping his client, every single staff member was very courteous to make sure I was comfortable and offered me coffee and water. Once Seth finished with his client he came over immediately to focus his attention on me. I explained to him that I was interested in the Grand Seiko Snowflake which he removed from the display case for me to view. Seth is very knowledgeable and passionate about timepieces. He was able to go into great detail as to why the Snowflake is such an iconic watch for Grand Seiko, which you can easily appreciate while holding it in your hand. With Seth’s help, I ultimately decided that this is the perfect timepiece to replace my Apple Watch until the Rolex becomes available. I am happy that the luxury purchasing experience was amazing without any pressure. You can feel that J. Vair Anderson takes pride in making sure that the customer comes first. I got acquainted with Paul just before Christmas to order a Wolf watch winder as a gift for my dad. He made sure I got the exact model I wanted in a very timely manner. As a bonus I got to talk watches with another enthusiast which I don't get to do too often. Fast forward a bit and I came back to commission a custom pair of earrings for my mom (good product placement in their calendar) which Paul and Pei-Wen have been handling wonderfully. We got to talking about watches again and I had mentioned a timepiece I have been after for a while. I also got to meet some more of the team and talk shop during a few my visits which was great. Thursday last week I came in on a whim to finalize some details on the earrings and I happened to be in need of a watch roll. Imagine my surprise when I opened up the roll to see the piece I had been wanting sitting inside. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. The delivery was perfect! That made this watch even more special to me. Everyone in the store made the experience enjoyable and memorable. I haven't been able to take it off since. It's so refreshing to be able to walk into a dealer, to be treated like a person and feel welcome no matter what you have on your wrist. Thank you Paul, Dylan, Seth, Pei-Wen, and Ed, you've earned a lifetime client for sure. By far the best experience I've had at any jeweler.

I visited J. Vair Anderson to inquire about a specific Rolex timepiece that I was in the market for. I had the pleasure of meeting Paul L'Hirondelle and his colleagues, Seth and Ed. After some in depth discussion regarding the brand and the status of the watch market I left my contact information and asked to be advised if any Rolex timepieces that fell within the parameters I was looking for became available. I was fortunate to hear back from Paul much sooner than expected and was pleased to be invited to come to the store and review a timepiece that was available. I specifically appreciated that I was not told what the timepiece was until I was at the store and presented with it. This indicated to me that the previous discussions that we had were meaningful, and that they had put thought and consideration into inviting me to visit the store to consider a specific Rolex timepiece that they believed I would appreciate and be interested in acquiring. The entire experience was top shelf customer service which I appreciated and commend Paul, Seth, Ed, and their colleagues for providing. I look forward to being a repeat customer.

An exceptional watch and jewelry store! Incredibly welcoming staff that, as others have mentioned, work hard as a team to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. There is a unique selection of high end watch brands on sale here, such as Nomos and Sinn which are very hard to find in-person at an authorized dealer. The staff are really knowledgeable and careful when handling your potential purchases and their watch adjustments are done perfectly. The location is somewhat small but the display cases showcase the items at their best. Rolex’s are essentially sold out due to the low supply but there are plenty of other great watches in store (e.g. Grand Seiko). You will need to park on the street nearby or in another lot as there’s no designated parking lot. Highly recommended luxury goods shop!
