C	Cassandra Mabee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a mobile mechanic had initially told me nothing was wrong with my van, then Dodge had quoted me $1,300 to replace the two front struts and do an alignment, I gave J&M a call. Derek walked me through each step and was very informative as well as professional. As a first time car owner, I was skeptical to go anywhere but a dealership, but now know I will not go anywhere but J&M. They had diagnosed and fixed the problem within a few hours and at a cheaper cost. They care about their clients and will let you know what they feel is best to do, or if it can wait. I give them all my trust and hats off to them for being down to earth, reliable and professional. Thanks guys!

Unlike the typical dealership where you feel like you're stuck in a glass jar full of mosquitoes, these guys are just real. They get you the best price on parts and charge more than a fair price for the labour. Last year I was in thinking I had something really wrong with my car, but was pleasantly surprised when they told me the issue was minor and a lot less to fix than I imagined. When I brought in my car today I had another great experience. Add consistency to their list too. Keep up the great work guys!

After receiving some of the worst automotive service I've ever experienced from another automotive shop, I set out to find a new mechanic. I found J&M Automotive. From my first encounter with J&M Automotive when I booked a checkup because of muffler and a/c problems, to their friendly and informative giving of information without trying to intimidate, belittle, or take advantage of me because I'm a woman, they repaired the muffler fix that they did that I was not happy with without extra charge and answered my questions without rushing me. The building and waiting area is basic, a bit dusty and wheelchair accessible. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Their location off Chemong is convenient and easy to find. They offer a drop-home service if leaving the car with them for the day.

It was my first time coming here and going to new mechanic is always nerve wracking as you don’t know if they will be honest with you or not. However I felt like they were so honest and up front with me. I don’t feel like they were trying to rip me off but were wanting to give me the best service at the best cost. They were so helpful answering all my questions. Their service was so quick but they kept me updated throughout the entire process. Highly recommend. You have a lifelong customer in me!

Their expertise and quick turn-around time keep our vehicles on the road. J&M takes care of all of our regular maintenance, such as oil changes and tires needs, as well as general repairs. We have been going to J&M for four years and will not go anywhere else. I highly recommend J&M!
