Wonderful builder... if you enjoy your home not meeting building code, substandard building materials, being lied to all the time, or if like pissing your hard earned savings away. Once they have your money, customer service turns into a broken record; "it's just bad luck that (insert problem here, ie your roof keeps blowing off)".

We purchased the “Kirkwood” model (Bungaloft) from Mason homes in Peterborough Parklands subdivision. The sales team at the model homes were fantastic to deal with they were professional, personable, and very informative. The wide range of model homes are so well staged/designed, honestly stunning! We are so glad we decided to purchase here, the neighbourhood is friendly, lots shopping such as Wal-mart, Canadian tire, and more are 1 min away which we LOVE! So far, the after care service has been good for any items on our list. We moved from North Oshawa to Peterborough, happy with our decision. We highly recommend Mason Homes and the neighbourhood!

Beautiful. Slow to fix problems. 4 months after closing still waiting on window installation and french doors. Mold problem already.

I'm giving Mason Homes a one start review because there is no way to leave a zero star review. To say that after sales service is absolutely horrible is an understatement. Once they have your money, it's up to you to chase them to complete the work you've paid them to do. I'm so tired of having to deal with Mason Homes and their dysfunctional customer service. Further, don't be lured in by the affiliation with Mike Homes. I called and spoke with one of the people from Mike Homes Inspections, who indicated to me that they have had a number inquiries and concerns brought to their attention by Mason Homes customers. I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Homes Inspections withdrew from their arrangement with Mason Homes. I know Mike Homes company is making money from the relationship, but hopefully they'll realize how much it's costing them in lost business. They're ruining their good brand by an affiliation with a poor one. Save yourself a major headache and lots of stress - don't buy from Mason Homes! Lastly - I think a few of these reviews look suspect. You be the judge!

5 months after moving in, still have a hole in my main hallway, Boards for windows in my egress basement window that the builder broke 9 months ago when installing, Cracks in my drywall, Gasket on shower door not properly installed, Creaking staircase and Missing finishes on my porch; trims and paint Will update this post when repairs/installations happen.

Great little community close to the Kawarthas. There is a city bus line that passes through the development. We are on higher grounds, so no flood issues as Peterborough is known for. Different types of schools in area. Trent University near by.
