★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing customer service. Ordered 1.5 cubic yards of triplemix over the phone and they were extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. They were punctual and the delivery driver was very polite and was able to put the soil in the best location. This was our first time buying from Islington and we will definitely be going back to them in the future. Thank you and stay safe!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been buying from this place for like 8 years as it’s close to us. Initially it was very hard to find products in the yard with little help and was not even organized. Since last year, I have been dealing with Shilpa and it has always been a pleasure. The quick response to the emails, and the customer service is great. Another gentleman, Sahil always goes out of the way to help for all the orders. I went in today and was amazed to see how the look of the their trailer has changed and the tools were so organized. I always recommend INL to my near and dear ones. Another new member Teesha, is a great addition as well! In short, Great service, perfect coordination and well organized tools trailer.... ever in 8 years!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I shop at locally-owned businesses to every extent possible and am happy that Islington Nurseries (the retail store on Islington) is around. Their plant stock is from high quality suppliers and their prices are reasonable. The selection beats the terrible stock sold at big box stores. My only disappointment every time I go there is that some of the women who work there are ALWAYS in a very bad mood, always condescending when you ask simple questions. It's also weird they call their adult male co-workers "the boys" when discussing things they're going to ask these young men to do, and treat them accordingly. They also treat young new fellow employees at the cash terribly, frankly. It's 2020 and your customers want to see respectful treatment of your co-workers. My neighbours have commented on the same observations there -- specific perennially cranky employees. Makes us wonder if they're not treated/paid well. Apart from that, very happy this business is there for garden shopping .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ None of the workers know where anything is. Was giving a wrong skid of stone. Had to waste time of coming back. Management says it's not there problem, even though they loaded me with the wrong materials.
Not organized at all!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The product is great, but the service is horrible! I ordered a yard of black loam soil over 48hrs in advance and was told it was going to be delivered, in the morning, in a bag on my driveway.
Instead, I get it delivered at 5:20PM (20mins after the latest time they confirmed it would be dropped off), NOT in a bag and spilling over to my neighbour's driveway. The forecast was calling for rain and if it had it would have been washed away (hence the reason for the bag) so I had to move it all to my backyard at 5:30PM alone, when earlier I had help.
I called and left many messages with the manager to complain about the service, but of course none of my calls were returned. I was planning to buy SOD from this location, but instead took my business to Toemar in Mississauga instead (who have excellent service).
I will never use this company's "services" again. Buyer be warned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a very good selection of natural stone and pre-cast concrete products along with a great display. It's a good place to bring customers to preview materials before they are installed. The staff know what they're talking about and have enough experience to help identify different stones. Also, the drivers often offer advice about the best place to place materials when delivered. Overall this is one of our favourite suppliers because of their customer service, professionalism, and location within the city. We highly recommend them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent prices for sod ($5.10 a roll for 9 sq ft)...but $150 to deliver 7 minutes away? Paying for delivery is expected....but getting gouged to that extreme is not. There is simply no justification for charging that much to deliver to an address that is so close. Fuel costs have not increased that much.
