★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family has dealt with Island Highway Automotive for years, since before they were IHA. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and don't talk down to you. This is the only place we'll bring our vehicles for maintenance barring an out-of-area emergency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When selling my vehicle, the people interested took it to Island Highway Automotive for a once over before buying it. It was discovered by Island automotive that there was a "puddle" coming from the transmission. Island highway quoted them roughly $1,000 to fix it and didn't explain to them that it was not a big deal.
This resulted in loss of the sale, I called Island highway automotive and asked if it was a puddle? or just a small leak? (which it was a small leak) and mentioned that they lost me the sale of the car due to the opinion of the mechanic. The man on the phone back pedaled and told me he would call the people that brought it in and explain to them that it wasn't a critical repair and that it would still be a good car to buy otherwise.
$300 dollars later my car was fixed, thanks to Westshore Transmissions. $300 compared to $1000? I'll take the $300 bill.
I would strongly recommend anywhere but this place, put your money back in your pocket and not in there's!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I dealt with Island Highway Automotive over the past two weeks for the first time. I must say honestly that they were amazing! We had a situation with the car that required a lot of digging to find the problem and not only did they persevere in trying to resolve the problem, but they went above and beyond what we would have expected from ANY auto repair shop. They were honest about the issues, extremely fair in the manner in which it was dealt with and were respectful all the way. I am SO impressed with this shop, I'm spreading the word to EVERYONE!!!! Please check them out if you are frustrated with your auto mechanic. You won't be disappointed in the value you get for your dollar and the amazing service offered. You'll appreciate their honesty and hard work, perseverance and integrity! Great job!! I have the highest respect for this business and Don. We are grateful to have discovered this gem of a shop and highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed.
