Extremely poor communication , told us we could get a Dog before we moved in then told us we where not allowed to get a dog after we moved in, I have to contact the property manager multiple times before ANYTHING is done , furnace stopped working they sent a crew out and charged us (2 months after moving in it stopped working) claimed it was a dirty filter .... the filter was new .... I would give 0 stars if that where an option . I consider this a lesson learned to never deal with this company again. oh yeah also Chris the ceiling is still collapsing in the basement that we mentioned months ago and the ceiling vent in the basement is also still not re-installed that fell and almost landed on us .

I have been a long term tenant of Inland for over 10 years and can only rave about the level of service that we have received. The company has been extremely responsive anytime that there has been a problem. The vendors that they use are very well vetted and a pleasure to deal with. We shall miss our home and can only hope for a landlord on the same level in our new city.

Only at 10.75 months in my 12 month lease, and i gave my end of lease notice more then the standard 30 days prior (because I had to) and they are already scheduling viewings for my residence. 24 hours notice prior to a viewing is understandable but having strangers come and go doesn't guarantee a peaceful living situation. Especially when my bathroom ceiling has leaked 3 times within a 10 month period and I have been more then reasonable towards the 'repairs', I was told I 'learnt a lesson' by this rental company. As many late nights/days have to be taken off work for 'repairs', I have to let my fur baby go away until I find myself a forever home, for people coming and going from my residence I do not feel safety for her. I feel as though 'repairs' I've been dealing with are quite a fuss towards my peaceful living standards, but also having tours of my residence while I am still present, is not more then a 'get out' as more of a ' please, you owe me money'

The level of service that was received from Inland was very poor. As a landlord, you would assume that you would be informed of any changes made to the lease of the property you are asking inland to manage. But, that simply isn't the case. Inland treats the properties for rent like it is their property and they can change the contents of the lease that was originally discussed whenever they like without informing you. Not to mention, if you need to get a hold of your rep at the company, it is extremely hard. It took me 2 weeks to hear back from them about my own property and that was only after sending multiple emails and calling and explaining my situation to the receptionist (who was probably the most helpful employee they have at their office). I was under the assumption that hiring a property manager would be easier and lift a burden off my shoulders when it really just made it worst.

My experience with Inland Property Management has been nothing but positive and they really are a pleasure to work with. Any issues that have come up at our condo building have been dealt with swiftly and the staff there is very responsive. The communication with not only the Board of Directors but also with the unit owners is prompt and courteous. I would recommend them to any Board of Directors seeking management for their condominium.

Had issues with a rocking toilet. Took over a month for anything to get done. When the toilet was changed I found it was still rocking. I had contacted the maintenance crew who changed the toilet to notify about rocking. Stated the toilet would need new flanges. About a month or so later I received an invoice for 140$ stating I had to pay due to the β€œsecond callout” I then phoned inland president Kate Brisson who was very rude and abrupt me with me on the phone. When I explained that I was not appreciative of her tone with me on the phone, she then told me β€œwell that’s for sure not going to get you anywhere.β€œ needless to say I ended up paying 140$ from my own pocket due to miscommunication between Inland and the maintenance crew; as well as having to be told by the president of Inland mgmt, Kate Brisson, that asking for politeness will β€œget me nowhere” very poorly run.

I found that responses to problems are handled very reasonably during working hours. After hours only emergency problems are dealt with which is understandable. The finances and paperwork is done very well and the steps when dealing with problems during board meetings is all done correct and professionally. The people that are having issues with this company might have difficulty differentiating between the board of directors and building management. It is always a wise idea if you are an owner in particular to go to your buildings AGM to meet those in charge and Inland does a good job following proper procedure.

EDIT: Even their response to this review denies responsibility. The towing company does NOT patrol, that is an out right lie. The car was reported wrongly from another resident and you guys directly authorized the tow from that alone with ZERO evidence. I'm even more mad now after that reply. They towed a visitor that was parked for only an hour because they didn't like "How often" they were visiting. Also refused to refund when presented with evidence and told me the same car can only visit twice a week... What if you have Homecare? Personal care? Family visiting? A boyfriend? A contractor of any kind? Too much D&D and my friend is going to get towed?
